Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!
Wow, I can't believe a week flew by since I last posted! Yikes! Well, I am here today to let you know that I am back on the DT for My Craft Spot !! Yippee!!
I was missing these guys so much and couldn't wait to get back to creating with them. Thanks so much Kimberly, I am so thrilled!!
Today starts a new challenge at My Craft Spot and the challenge is:
Trick or Treat!
We hope you come join in the fun-we'd love to see your creations!
Here is my project:
I made some little treat bags for a Halloween party or just for giving out to the special little kiddo's in the neighborhood. I started by cutting the tags at 3 1/2 from the Art Philosophy cartridge and embossed them with the TH bricked folder. I inked around the edges with TH old paper.
The Dracula is cut at 3 1/4 from the Happy Haunting's cartridge plus the layers. I stamped the sentiment with My Craft Spot's Ornate Labels-Halloween stamp set. I took a cello bag I had on hand and filled them with a Halloween treat~watermelon bloody bites with fangs...found these at the store, lol! They are perfect! I tied the tag on with some red tulle and then around the bag and tied a bow.
WAIT.....I have more :)
I cut Frankenstein's Bride at 3 1/2 also from the Happy Haunting's cartridge plus the layers.
I also embossed these tags using the same folder. I took a cello bag and added gumball-eyeballs and tied the fun tag to it using green and purple tulle.
I stamped this sentiment with My Craft Spot's Ornate Labels- Halloween stamp set also. This is an awesome stamp set-some FUN sentiments for Halloween...love it!
Be sure to stop over at My Craft Spot and check out what the Design Team has created for you!
Come back and join in the challenge~We'd love to see your trick or treat projects!!
