All the papers are from my scrap bin~yeah! Wow, how does that fill up so fast all the time?
I used a cut file from My Scrap Chick called Full Cup Treat Holders and cut it with my Cameo.
I filled it with a cello bag of yummy hot chocolate, marshmallows and Hershey Hug Kisses. Great mix, ha?
The Santa is cut at 3" from the Simply Charmed cartridge along with the layers. I added some sparkling ice glitter Santa's beard and the eyes are stamped with PKSC June 2013 kit. I also added a touch of glossy accents to the eyes and colored the nose with a copic marker.
I tied on a double bow with My Craft Spot's Scarlet Red crinkle ribbon and green Jute String from My Craft spot. The tag is My Creative Time's Teeny Tags Greetings stamp set and the sentiment is the Tiny Tags Holiday stamp set.  The gem is from my stash.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi Everyone!
I am running around trying to finish up some last minute errands today before we leave out of town for Thanksgiving. So, what are you doing for Thanksgiving? I hope you all have a wonderful time spending it with family and friends!! If you are traveling, be safe!!!
I will be gone for a few days and will be back next week to come around and visit. Until then.....Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Before I go, I  want to share a very quick Home Decor project that was super easy and
fun to make!
Hope you like it:

I picked up this plate from Wal Mart and thought it would be fun to add a vinyl  saying to it. So, I searched at the Silhouette Store and found this wonderful saying and cut it with my Cameo.
It is sized at 3.95 x 5.70 and then transferred to the plate. I think it will be placed on a easel on a shelf in my house. Another idea, you could easily add some of your favorite yummy cookies to the plate, add wrap over it and then finish with a fun tag!
It makes for a nice gift for the Holidays, or a housewarming gift or even a Home Decor piece in your home. What do you  think?
My lovely daughter, son in law and Granddaughter, Arya had these gorgeous flowers delivered to me at work yesterday~Aren't they beautiful?
Keep in mind, if you don't have the Silhouette Came to do this. You could do the same type arrangement using your cricut and gypsy pretty easily by welding the wording together using your font cartridges.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Silhouette Challenges Challenge #7 Anything Holiday
2.) 2 Creative Chicks Challenge #8 Thanksgiving
3.) DL.ART November Linky-Anything Goes
Have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving!!

From your Secret Santa-Snowman tags

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi Everyone!
I have a fun project to share with you today that I made for the fun Designer challenge over at
My Creative Time ~The challenge is: Winter Holiday Tags.
With Christmas right around the corner...... I thought I would make a couple of gift tags to have on hand for those gifts that will be needing a tag :)
I cut the tags from the Wrap it Up cartridge at 4 1/4. The papers are from Recollection-Christmas/Noel collection. Aren't they festive?
I used a 1 3/4 SU circle punch for the circle and stamped the adorable face with PK485 Snowmany Face stamp set. I colored in the eyes and nose with copics and then added a touch of glossy accents.
The fun little hat is from My Creative Time's Here's Lookin' at You stamp/die set. I inked the edges of the hat with peeled paint and added a cute button.
I wrapped some fun twine that I had in my stash and tied on this sweet tag. The tag is from My Creative Time's Teeny Tags Greetings Die.  I inked the edges of the tag with peeled paint and stamped the sentiment with the Teeny Tags Holiday stamp set.
I finished by adding a fun striped ribbon that I picked up at Liz's Paper Loft, tied on a twine bow and added a vintage berries candi to the center.
Thanks for stopping!

Hi Everyone!
Today is my DT day over at My Craft Spot~
I have a fun card to share with you using My Craft Spot's Jar Full of Fall stamp set. I also kept in mind a few challenges I wanted to play in while creating this card :)
Hope you like it!
The card base is 5 x 5 and base layer at 4 3/4 x 4 3/4. The solid papers are from SU and the pattern paper is from We R Memory Keepers-Autumn Splendor collection.
The turkey is from the Create A Critter 2 cartridge cut at 3 3/4 along with the layers. I embossed the different layers with the divine swirl folder, the diamond folder and the tiny bubbles folder for dimension. I also added a bittersweet jute bow and some doodling.
I cut a small panel along the bottom, punched a fun border with a MS punch and then stitched using my sewing machine for a fun look. Then using the Lacy Banners Metal Die I cut the burst, layered on the felt button and then tied a bow with bittersweet jute.
To finish the card, I stamped the sentiment with the Jar Full of Fall stamp set and added 2 buttons that I had in my stash.

Sweets of the Season

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi Everyone!
I have a quick and easy project to share with you! I made these for some of Arya's little daycare friends for her to give to them next week before Thanksgiving break.
They are super simple to make and I kept it rather simple as they are just gonna rip into them anyway for the candy:)
I filled the little candy bags that I got from my friend Ally with yummy M & M's and made a fun little tag. The tag is Jaded Blossoms Treat Tag Die which I embossed with the Forest Branches folder.
The little turkey is cut at 2 1/2 plus the layers from the Create A Critter cartridge. I also embossed some of those layers with the divine swirls and swiss dots folder and then added foam adhesive to them for dimension.
I stamped the sentiment with Jaded Blossoms Winter Candies stamp set and finished by adding a satin bow.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Jaded Blossom Anything Thanksgiving
2.) Pumpkin Spice Challenge #46 Food
3.) Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #187 Animal Crackers
4.) Frosted Designs Give a Gift

My Craft Spot Challenge #118~ Sketch Challenge

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hello Everyone and Happy Monday!
Wow, the weekend went fast, ha? I was gone the last few days on a girls weekend getaway. We had a great time spending time together :) We also got a jump start on our Christmas shopping, took in a large craft show and ate at some fabulous restaurants. Wow, I couldn't believe all the people out shopping over the weekend!! When do you start your Christmas shopping??

So, are you ready for another challenge this week at My Craft Spot???
This weeks challenge is a sketch challenge!
Fun, ha?
Be sure to come and play along for a chance to win an awesome My Craft Spot stamp set! We would love to see what you create!
Here is my take on the sketch:
When I saw the sketch I immediately thought that this would make a great Christmas card and a gift card holder all in one. You know...for those hard to buy for kind of people on your list that you give gift cards to? This holds those gift cards perfectly!
I added a small panel in the center of the card and created a fun border with a MS border punch. I then layered the pretty snowflake border on top of that.
The snowflake border is My Craft Spot Snowflakes Border Metal Die which was cut and layered with foam dots for dimension. I added a small purple rhinestone to the center for added bling. Isn't that border beautiful? This is such an awesome die!
I stamped the snowman image with the Stampin' Around Christmas stamp set and layered it on a scallop that is from the Tiny Doilies Metal Die set and then onto a pennant that was fussy cut out.
The tag is cut at 3 3/4 and 4" from the TBBM2 cartridge which I layered together. I tied some AC gingham ribbon, purple plum twine and a fun snowflake that was in my stash to finish it off.  All I have to do is pick up the gift card and adhere it to the pull out tag and it's ready to go :)
Be sure to stop over at My Craft Spot to see what the DT has created for you!
Have a great day!

What's Cookin'?

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Good Morning Everyone!
Today is my DT day at My Craft Spot~
I have a fun card to share with you using My Craft Spot's Happy Thanksgiving stamp set.
Hope you like it!
I found this adorable "gobble-gobble" turkey card cut file HERE at the Silhouette Store and just had to make one. I cut the feather layers a second time to pop them with foam dots for dimension. I inked all the edges of the turkey layers and the banner with TH walnut stain.
The turkey's body was embossed with the spots & dots folder and then a cute feather was tucked in under the head piece.......actually, I think it's hilarious but why not add a little humor to a card once in a while, lol!  The bow is tied with Jute String from My Craft Spot.
For the banner I used My Craft Spot's Ribbon Banner's Metal Dies and the sentiment was stamped with the Happy Thanksgiving stamp set.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Silhouette Challenges #7 Anything Holiday
2.) Craftin Desert Diva's Linky Party #19 Thanksgiving

Believe in the MAGIC of Christmas!

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Good Morning Everyone!
I hope your having a good week! Isn't it going fast? I have been running around like a crazy women (Grandma) this week trying to get ready for Ms Ayra's birthday party on Saturday. She will be 2 on Monday 11/11~crazy how time flies. It seems like she was just born!

It's my day to post at My Craft Spot and I have a fun project to share with you today.  I used some of My Craft Spot's new Stamps and Dies from the Winter Stamp Release on my
Christmas tag:)
I hope you like it!
I started off with a tag that I cut with papers from MME Lost & Found Christmas collection. I added a pretty paper doily that was in my stash and cut a label from pattern paper from this stack. The label is cut at 3 1/2 from the Elegant Edges cartridge and inked around the edges with TH victorian velvet and adhered it down in place.
I won this adorable Prima Mixed Media Doll Stamp and so happy I finally got a chance to use it! Thanks so much Diane from Nellies Nest~I absolutely adore this stamp and will be making more tags, for sure!!
I stamped the doll 4 times to piece the hair, clothing and shoes in fun pattern paper. I then inked the edges with TH victorian velvet, added foam adhesive tape to her and layered her on the tag.
The snowflake is from My Craft Spot's Snowflake Border Metal Die. I added some rhinestones to it for a little sparkle. What a fantastic metal die.....so fun to use on your Christmas projects! I just love it!
I stamped the sentiment on a 1 1/2" square cut from the George cartridge with the Joy Filled Christmas stamp set, the holly with the Christmas Ornate Labels stamp set and then adhered it down hanging slightly over the edge of the tag.
I cut a small panel along the bottom and punched a lacy border piece using a EK Success border punch. The banner is from from My Craft Spot's Ribbon Banners Straight Metals Die and the sentiment is stamped with Christmas Banners Sentiment stamp set.
I finished by adding a cranberry ribbon bow, a natural jute string bow and button from my stash. I also added a little tulle.
So, what do you think? How fun to add this to a package at Christmas time or a larger gift bag?
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Fantabulous Cricut Challenge # 185 Anything Goes
2.) Love Rubberstamps Challenge #77 Anything Goes
3.) Craftin Desert Diva Linky Party Anything Goes

My Creative Time and had to try it out :)

The little owl is cut at 2 1/2 from the Give A Hoot cartridge plus the layers.  I added googly eyes and popped this cutie on a rosette using My Creative Time's Scalloped Stitched Rosette Metal Die. What a fun die~
I filled the pouch with some yummy Hershey chocolate kisses and wrapped around some satin ribbon and tied a bow. I also tied on a cute little charm/tag that was cut at 1" from the Give A Hoot cartridge.
