Happy New Year~Wishing you a "Souper" Holiday!

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!
Hello Everyone and Happy New Year!
I hope you are having a great weekend and awesome start to 2014! I have been super busy trying to tie up year end at work the past few weeks along with getting ready for the BIG release
for My Craft Spot!
It starts Monday~Be sure to mark your calendar!
You won't want to miss all the fun projects and prizes up for grabs!!

Until then, I have a quick project to share with you today using My Craft Spot's Christmas Friends & Neighbors and the Stamping All Around Christmas stamp sets.

It was a quick gift I made for a friend of mine to ring in the New Year :)
I found this yummy Chicken Noodle soup packet at this fun boutique shop and thought it would be fun to dress up the packaging a bit to give away. So, I created a pouch with black card stock and fun pattern paper by MME~Holly Jolly Winter Branches from my scraps.
Using my sewing machine I stitch the sides and added a fun snowflake border with My Craft Spot's Snowflake Border metal die and added gems to the center.
I cut the cute snowman from the Jolly Holidays cartridge at 3 3/4 plus the layers. I stamped the face with PK 485 Snowmany Faces stamp set, added rosy cheeks and freckles along with a few sequins. Aaaw, I just noticed I forgot to add the scarf before I took the picture :(
Oh well, I added it before I give it away!
The label is cut at 1 3/4 from the Art Philosophy and I stamped the sentiment and snowflakes with Christmas Friends & Family stamp set.
I also made a matching topper for the soup package with the same coordinating papers. I added a tag using the Tiny Doilies Die and stamped the sentiment with the Stamping All Around Christmas and tied it on with some Vanilla Bean  crinkle ribbon.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) 2 Creative Chicks Challenge #10 Anything Goes
2.) Love Rubberstamps Challenge #84 New Years Resolution-use scraps
3.) Jo's Scrap Shack Challenge #31-Happy New Year
4.) Bitten By the Bug 2  New Year Linky Party
5.) Pumpkin Spice Challenge #53 Something 2014

  18. This is so awesome, Sherrie!! I love, love the papers!! The snowman is so adorable, even without the scarf!! The snowflake border is fabulous!! Love this my friend!!

I hope you aren't buried under tons of snow. It's hitting us right now and tomorrow the temps are going to be in the negatives, with wind chills around -30. Ugh. I know it's even worse up there so I'll be thinking of you and praying that it doesn't get too bad. Hugs :)
