Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!
Hello Everyone!
It's the last day of sneak peeks for My Craft Spot's new Stamp Release!! We hope you are enjoying all the fun projects and peeks of the new stamps and dies.
Tomorrow we will be having a BLOG HOP with the full release of the new stamp and metal die sets for you to see!! Yippee!!
You are going to LOVE it!!
There will also be a new stamp or metal die set up for grabs at every stop in the hop!
How awesome is that???
Today we are showcasing the new Simply Sentiments stamp set and the Tiny Doilies 2 metal
die set.
Here is my project:
For my project I created a fun little treat box :)
I think this would make such a cute little party favor at a birthday party, don't you?
I found this adorable cupcake box at the Silhouette store and had to make one. Isn't it fun?? The papers are from MME Fine & Dandy Girl collections~super fun papers in this pack and a lot of pink, which is one of my favorite colors! I cut the box, inked the edges with TH Victorian Velvet distressing ink and adhered it all in place.
This is one of the NEW doilies from the Tiny Doilies 2 metal die. Ooh, your gonna love this die set!! I stamped the sentiment in the center of the circle which is from the Tiny Doilies metal die set and stamped the sentiment with the new Simply Sentiments stamp set.
I tied on a twine bow with cappuccino bakers twine to the cherry on top. I then filled a cello bag with yummy Hershey milk chocolate hugs and tied on bow using petal pink crinkle ribbon to finish it up.
Here is a second project:
I made a quick 3 x 3 card set with scraps left over from my project on Wednesday. These are the perfect size to go inside a gift or gift bag.
The doily is from the Tiny Doilies 2 metal die and stamped with the Simply Sentiments stamp set. I used all 4 metal doilies in this set of cards...aren't they adorable? The leaves are cut at 1 1/4" from the Flower Shoppe cartridge.
I  put them all in cello bag and tied on a fun bow with ribbon from SU. I added a fun little tag using the Postage Stamps metal die and stamped the sentiment with the Tickets stamp set.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

My card base is 5 x 5 and the base layer 4 3/4. The papers are from DCWV~Pumpkin Patch collection. I added some stitching along the edges which is a little wonky~not to pleased with that....told you I wasn't a sewer?! Ha! O'well, tried!
The jar is the Jar Basics metal die, stamped with the Jar Basics stamp set using SU Rich Razzleberry. I stamped the flowers with the Jar Full of Flowers stamp set. I popped up the little center pieces which are stamped with SU Certainly Celery and then fussy cut out.
I added a little lace trim, tied on a pretty bow with Spring Moss crinkle ribbon and added a small gem to the center.
The scalloped border is the Fancy Edges metal die and the sentiment is from the Jar Full of Flowers stamp set. The tag is from the Tiny Doilies metal die and the sentiment is from the Stamping All Around Spring stamp set.

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!!
Hello Everyone!
Welcome to day 3 of My Craft Spot's Stamp Release Party!!!
Each day we will be giving you sneak peeks of 5 NEW stamp sets and 3 NEW metal die sets and then finish the week with a FUN blog hop on Saturday with prizes at each stop along the way!
Sound like fun??
Through out the week we will also be incorporating the Big Words metal die into our projects.

Today, we are showcasing our projects created with the Scrapping Life Calendar stamp set and Scrapping Life Cards metal die set.

Here is my project:
I made a cute little birthday bag for a friend of mine who has a birthday coming up. It is the perfect size for the fun jewelry I bought her :)
The bag is cut at 5" from the Artist cartridge. The patter papers are from We R Memory Keepers-Simply Spring collection. So many fun papers in this pack! I cut a small panel of pattern paper and then followed with this cute frame and arrow that is part of the Scrapping Life-Cards metal die set. The frame is embossed with the swiss dots folder for dimension.
The balloon is cut at 2 1/2 from the Create a Critter cartridge. I stamped the adorable Peachy Keen face with the Sweet On You stamp set, added rosy cheeks, freckles and glossy accents to the eyes. I also tied on a little bow to the balloon using Pink Sorbet twine.

I stamped the sentiment on the frame using the Banner Sentiments stamp set. The flowers are cut at 2 1/2 and 3" from the Art Philosophy cartridge. I inked the edges with TH Victorian velvet and added a little gem to the center.
For the tag, I used the Lacy Banners metal die and stamped the mo/day on it (which is her birthday) with the Scrapping Life-Calendar stamp set and with foam tape adhered it on the bag. I added a small Velcro piece to the bag for so it would close nicely and then finished with a bow using Buttercup and Petal Pink crinkle ribbon.

Here is a second project:
I found this darling Gift of Tags box idea HERE where there was a tutorial and just had to make one. I thought it would make such a fun gift.....I mean who doesn't need gift tags, ha?

I cut the tags from the George and Basics Shape cartridge.  The 2 on the outside of the box are cut at 4 1/4 which I also did a little sewing around the edges for a fun look. Then I cut 12 at 3 3/4 along with the shadow of the tag for the tags that go inside the box.

The papers are from MME-Playful Poises. For the center of each tag I used the Tiny Doilies metal die and stamped the sentiment with Stamping All Around Spring.  The backside of the tags also has stamped to & from using the Always & Forever stamp set. I added fun ribbon and tied on some Ivory Jute String to each tag.
On one side of the box I added a metal frame from SU and stamped the Happy Birthday with the Postage Stamps  and Tickets stamp set.
I stamped the cute calendar and the month of August with the Scrapping Life~Calendar stamp set and the little arrow is from the Scrapping Life~Cards metal die.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Here is my project:
I found this cute camera box at the Silhouette store and cut it on my Cameo.  I embossed the lens part with the swiss dots folder and then stamped the sentiment in the window with the Scrapping Life~Everyday stamp set. The little heart and little camera is from the Scrapping Life~Cards metal die set.

The little arrows and adorable camera are from the Scrapping Life~Cards metal die. A lot of cute little pieces with this die set :)
There are 5 pull outs to each set~You can also tie them together as a mini photo album but I wanted to leave them separated for now until it's complete with pics and/or journal.

Snowballs 4 Sale!!

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi Everyone! I hope your having a wonderful weekend! Well, we spent most of it trying to dig ourselves out from about 15 inches of snow that we got on Friday! For those of you that live in the sunny south....can I come for a visit?? Lol, it has been a bit of a crazy winter here in MN.

So, I was able to squeeze sometime to play in my craft room and thought I would share a card using this cute cut file I found at the Silhouette store and paired it up with a stamp set from
The file at the Silhouette store for this cutie is Design ID #52190. I cut all the pieces and assembled it. My card base for by card is 5 x 5. I tore a couple layers of white card stock at the bottom so it appeared the bucket was sitting in the snow. I embossed the post with the wood grain folder and added a little doodling to the bucket.
The snowflakes are from a Martha Stewart punch and the bling from Recollections. I finished by tying on a fun fun tag with Chocolate bakers twine. The tag is from SU and I stamped the sentiment with My Craft Spot's Think Snow stamp set.
Have a GREAT day!!
Be sure to stop back tomorrow for the My Craft Spot's Stamp Release Party!!
