If you came Nicole's blog, you are in the right place. If you just stumbled upon this post and would like to start from the beginning, please visit Lisa's blog.

When I think of spring, one of the first things I think of is Easter. So, I decided to get started on a few Easter projects as it will be here before we know it :)

I found this adorable bag at Lisa's store called the Oval Window Treat Bag and thought it would be perfect to hold some yummy candy!
The pattern papers are from Doodlebug Designs~Hello Spring collection and the solid are from Paper Studio.
The super sweet bunny is from the Hoppy Easter cut file. This file has so many awesome cuts on it....you'll see, my next project also is from this file!
Adorable, ha?
I stamped the bunny face with PK170 Teddy Bear Face stamp set, added rosy cheeks, freckles and glossy accents. I also tied on a cute little bow with honeydew twine from My Craft Spot.
I had a fun metal embellishment in my stash that I slid onto the oval. I tied on a little tag with My Craft Spot's Tiny Tags metal die and stamped the sentiment with the Tiny Tags 3 stamp set and finished with a natural  Jute String and a crinkle ribbon bow. I also added little green rhinestones around the oval for a fun look :)
The inside is filled with yummy Easter bite size candy bars... :)

WAIT....before you go, I have another project using this
adorable file:

I made a quick Easter card to share too:
This card is an A2 size, using pattern paper from Lasting Impressions. The oval is a Spellbinders Floral Oval which I adhered in place. I tied on My Craft Spot's Caribbean and Pink Sorbet twine and finished with a button.
Isn't this skipping bunny stinken cute? It is part of the Hoppy Easter cut file. I cut it out, inked the edges with TH victorian velvet, added stickles to the tail and finished with some doodling. The arrow is from Scrapping Life Cards
metal die set.
The banner is the Ribbon Banners~Wavy metal die which I inked up and then stamped the cute sentiment with the Happy Easter stamp set.
Thanks for hopping with us today! Hope you were inspired:)

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi Everyone and Happy Thursday!
Today I have a fun little project to share with you using some cut files from the Silhouette Store. I found this adorable beach style bag #43859 and fell in love with it. I have made this bag before, you can see HERE. I embossed the handle and the edge piece along the bottom of the bag with the SU petals of plenty folder to add a little texture.
The love bunny is also from the Silhouette store file #37961. It sits on a pretty paper doily which I wrapped some fun  maraschino twine from My Craft Spot and tied a double bow.
I stamped the cute face with PK Sweet on You stamp set. I colored in the eyes with a copic maker, white gel pen and glossy accents. I added some sparkling ice glitter to the bow and finished with a small rhinestone to the center of it. The sentiment in the center heart is stamped with Jaded Blossom's Bunny Poop stamp set.
I finished with a fun double bow using crinkle ribbon from my stash along with a maraschino twine bow and button. The label is My Creative Time's Curly Label and Stitched Curly Label and the sentiment is stamped with Jaded Blossom's Love Bunny stamp set.

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hello my craft friends,
I hope your having a great day! I had an awesome time over the weekend attending a craft retreat with a friend of mine. The gals were so fun and just amazing to get to know. The cabin we stayed at was so beautiful and I can't wait to go back!! I did manage to get a few projects done along with some they had set up for us. They even had some awesome challenges, prizes...super fun! We also watched some movies, ate a lot of great food and had yummy beverages! I wish we could have stayed longer!
Today is my DT day at My Craft Spot and I have a quick like card to share with you using the Jar Full of Flowers stamp set and the Big Words metal die from the newest release.
I hope you like it!
I started with SU creamy caramel card stock for the base of my card. The base layer is a panel that I stamped the flowers and pretty butterflies with the Jar Full of Flowers stamp set.
I also stamped an extra flower and fussy cut it out and popped it up with foam tape. I added little limeade enamel dots from Doodlebug to the center of the flowers and in the upper right corner of the card.

Wishing you Luck!

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Good Morning!
I hope you are all enjoying your weekend and able to get some crafting in!
I have this project scheduled to post today as I am actually away on a scrap retreat weekend with some friends. I am hoping to get a lot done and will be back next week to share some projects!

Today it is my DT over at My Craft Spot and I have a quick and yummy project to share with you using the Tiny Tags stamp set :)

St Patrick's Day is right around the corner and with that being said I made some yummy pretzel sticks for my Granddaughter, Arya to bring to her daycare friends on Monday.
I picked up the pretzel sticks and candy coating chips at Walmart. I then melted the chips and dipped them... some in green and some in white. I sprinkled candies on each of them and let them set up. I went back over them and drizzled the opposite color I dipped them in and once set up, put them in pretzel bags.
I then cut the 32 cute little inch warms at 3" from the Create A Critter 2 cartridge plus the layers. I added a little doodling, stamped the cute sentiment on the hat with the Tiny Tags stamp set.
I tied some Pea Pod bakers twine around the pretzel bag, looped it through the hole that I punched in the side of the hat and tied a bow to finish it up :)
I kept it simple as they will just tear them off and eat them anyway:)
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Decorate to Celebrate Challenge #70 St Patrick's Day
2.) Bitten By the Bug 2 St Patrick's Day

Birthday Wishes

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Good Morning Everyone!
Happy Thursday!! I hope you are all having a great week so far. I heard that some of my blogger friends are getting hit with a huge snow storm and blizzards like conditions yesterday and today :(  So many of us are SO ready for spring!  What a strange winter we've had.....for those of you in the storm, we are thinking of you! Stay safe!!

I have a fun project to share with you today that I started a few weeks ago and just now had a little time to finish it up. I picked up this awesome file from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon and cut it on my Cameo. Lisa is now a Contributing Artist to the Silhouette Store! Yeah!!! How exciting for her~Check it out HERE for all the fun files or visit her Blog at Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon.
Lisa has SO many fun and adorable files and when I saw this K-Cup Treat Bag and thought it would make such a cute birthday gift idea along with a gift card to Starbucks. I cut the holder with Kraft paper and then added some fun lace along the bottom that I had in my stash. Then using some awesome papers from Canvas Corp,  I layered a doily using My Craft Spot's 4" Doily  metal die. I followed that with a My Creative Time's Vintage Stitched Label and then the cute coffee cup.
The coffee cup is cut at 3" from the Love You Latte cartridge. I inked the edges with walnut stain and embossed the top with the spots and dots folder. I stamped the small sentiment along the side with My Craft Spot's Bon Appetite stamp set.
The flower is created with My Creative Time's Flower Petal metal die & Stitched Leaves metal die. I inked the edges and adhered the flower in place and then added a small gem to the center.
The small burst is My Craft Spot's Lacy Banners metal die and stamped with the Best Wishes stamp set.
I finished with a small wrap of burlap to the handle, then tied on hot chocolate and merlot crinkle ribbon and then tied a bow. A couple yummy flavored Keurig coffee's to the holder and all ready to give away :)
Hope you liked my project!
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Craftin Desert Diva's Linky Party-Birthday

My Craft Spot Challenge # 128 Cute Critters

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hello my crafty friends!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Thank you SO much for all your kind words and comments last week~it was a little stressful to say the least but everything is much better! My hubby is back from Canada~yeah! I'll tell you, I was never so happy to see him!

We have things pretty much under control now and waiting for the insurance company this week to get back to us with the estimate to remodel that area. I still can't believe that a little hose under the bathroom vanity could cause that much damage!
I hope to get back in the swing of things real soon and back to crafting :)

Today we have the start of a fun challenge going on at My Craft Spot!!
We hope you can come join in the fun!
The challenge is: Cute Critters!
How fun is that?
I have a sweet card to share with you that I made for a friend using My Craft Spot's
Tiny Tags 3 and Build a Valentine stamp sets.

I used papers from a Recollections Valentine collection I picked up at Michael's. I love the fun patterns in this pack. I layered my first panel on and did a little stitching along the edges with my sewing machine. The oval layers are cut at 4 1/4 from the Elegant Edges cartridge and the adorable bear is a cut file from the Silhouette store that I cut on my Cameo.
I popped this cutie with foam dimensional tape onto the oval. The little heart in the center of her tummy is stamped with the Build a Valentine stamp set. The banner in the top corner is the Lacy Banners metal die and stamped the sentiment with the Tiny Tags 3 stamp set.
I stamped the face using Peachy Keens newer stamp set called Sweet on You face asst. I colored in the eyes and then layered on some glossy accents. I added rosy cheeks and some freckles...isn't she adorable??
I added a fun border at the bottom using the Fancy Edges metal die. I finished the card with a sheer double bow, a twine bow using maraschino twine and a fun gem to the center that is from Recollections.
Be sure to go check out what the DT has created for you over at My Craft Spot .....you will love all the creations!!!
Hope you enjoyed my card today :)

A Short Break

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to do a small post to let you know that I will have to step back from commenting/visiting and posting this next few weeks and this is why:

I happen to come home from work yesterday and realized there was a water supply line break in my main floor bathroom which caused a lot of damage to not only that room but my lower level utility room, bathroom, shower, sauna and laundry room.

My hubby and son's happen to be gone on a remote fishing trip to Canada. So therefor, I'm on my own. I have a company here doing the clean up, sanitizing and now demolishing the lower level bathroom and completely removing walls and the sauna.

Okay, seriously...I am in tears! If you remember about 2 yrs ago we were hit with the horrible flooding in our area and did extensive damage to our lower level and now this! Both times, my hubby was on fishing trips in Canada! He is NO longer visiting Canada.....haha! Just kidding...well, maybe not!

So, please don't forget about my little Ol' blog~I will be back real soon! I will try and visit blogs but my commenting will be limited along with crafting for now.
Thanks for understanding!

Hang in there~Thinking of You!

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi Everyone!
I hope your having a great day!
I had a little time in my craft room this afternoon and thought I would try and fit in a quick card  for the ABC Challenge going on at My Creative Time :) It sounded like a lot of fun...For the challenge, you could use any letter from the alphabet and then use as many items starting with that letter. So, the letter I chose was "B".
(I used blue card stock, blueberry twine and bling)
Will the flu going around and a few friends not feeling so hot, I wanted to send out a few cards to let them know I was thinking of them.
The pattern papers are from a fun 6x6 paper pack called MME Fine & Dandy Girl. The scalloped border is from My Craft Spot's Fancy Edges metal die. I added some stitching and a few little bling from Recollections along the edge.
The frame and little banner are both from My Creative Time's Just Simply Live set and the sentiment along the bottom is stamped with My Creative Time's Card Sentiments. I wrapped around the frame some Blueberry Trendy Twine from My Craft Spot and tied a bow.

I stamped the image, the hat and the band aide from the PKSC~15 March 2013 kit. I fussy cut around all the pieces and adhered them in place. I also added rosy cheeks, freckles and glossy accents to the eyes. Poor little guy looks like he's having a rough day, ha?
The sentiment on the banner is stamped from My Craft Spot's Feel Better Soon stamp set. The little skittles in the corner are from my friend, Carri.
Thanks for stopping!
