Feel Better Soon!

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi Everyone and Happy Wednesday!
I hope you are having a great week so far...can you believe it's almost August? Yikes, the time is flying by so fast this summer, don't you think?
I have a fun project to share with you today! Yup, little by little I am getting in my craft room. Yeah!  I made this little treat for my friends little granddaughter who hasn't been feeling well and thought this would brighten her day.  I also have the honor of sharing one of the new die's from the new release that My Creative Time is a sneak peeking today. It's called the "Trio Stitched Banner" metal die. I happen to have won it on a challenge and could wait to show you a peek to!
Be sure to head over and take a look at all the fantastic projects by Emma and her DT.
 They are AMAZING!

I started with a mini craft bag I picked up at Annie's Paper Boutique. I cut a small panel of polka dot pattern paper from Fancy Pants at 2 x 2 3/4 and a pretty border on each side using a Martha Stewart punch. I adhered that down with Extreme adhesive by Tombow.
Isn't she just adorable??
I found the little girl at the Silhouette Store Design #55981 which was a print and cut and using foam tape popped her up on the panel. I added little rhinestones for a necklace and a few on her shoes. I also used Wink of Stella glitter pen on her headband for a shimmery look along with a small flower. I even gave her a little lip gloss :)
The banner is My Creative Time's new Trio Stitched Banner Metal Die. It has 3 fun banners in this set...super fun for your projects! I stamped the sentiment on the banner with an oldie but goodie stamp set from My Creative Time called Pain, Pain Go Away
I added a yummy double bow with Pink Bubblegum crinkle ribbon from My Craft Spot along with the fun little tag. I used the Tiny Tags metal die and stamped the sentiment with the Tiny Tags stamp set.
I filled the bag with yummy chocolate...that would make anyone feel better, right?
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) My Craft Spot Challenge #146 Just for the Girls
2.) Silhouette Challenges Challenge #15~Print & Cut

You're beary sweet~Pencil Toppers

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hello my crafty friends!
Hello Everyone and Happy Monday!
I hope you had a great weekend! It went WAY to fast!!! I spent a lot of time over the weekend working hard on bows/tags to complete the wedding party favors for my sons upcoming wedding.  I took a break (a much needed one) to sneak in  my craft room and play for
a while...shhhh!!

I found this cute inchworm pencil topper file as I was browsing the Silhouette Store a few days back looking for a quick and fast gift idea for Arya's little neighbor friends. With the kids out of school, Arya's little neighbors come over a lot in the summer to play. Sometimes it's nice to have them sit and color, draw and have quiet time instead of running in and out of the house all day. So, this was a little something she could give to them when they have a little break from outdoor playing.
I cut them out, folder on the score lines and weaved the pencil through the holes. The tails are wrapped with My Craft Spots Yellow and Parrot Green  Jute twine and the sentiment is stamped with the Tiny Tags 3 stamp set. Super easy and pretty fast!
Of course, I had to add a little treat for them, lol! I filled these cute little boxes I picked up at Jaded Blossoms with sour gummy worms, yummy! I added a little belly wrap around the box and a cute doily tag using My Craft Spots Tiny Doilies metal Die and for the sentiment the Stamping All Around Spring and Stamping All Around Summer stamp sets.
So, what do you think???
I am entering this in the following challenges:

2.) Love Rubberstamps Challenge #113 Summer Fun

Just Because

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hello Everyone!
Wow, what a crazy summer it's been! I am so sorry I just haven't had a lot of time to blog and/or craft lately, life has just been super busy right now. I am sure there are some of you guys out there that can relate, right?
I am hoping to have a little time over the wknd to visit your blogs and maybe even sneak in my craft room
 a bit...fingers crossed!

A few days back Jaded Blossom and SVG Cutting Files had their 2nd Annual Hello Kitty Blog Hop. They were giving away over 20 Hello Kitty SVG cutting files away free for completing the hop. Jaded Blossoms even has coordinating stamps to go with the files! Wow, how fun is that? I am hoping to make all these file eventually~they are all so stinken cute!
Here is the Hello Kitty Fry Box:
I cut the fry box at the size the file came in as with papers from Recollections. I adhered it together with some amazing Tombow Extreme Adhesive tape that I won from The Cutting Cafe blog. Wow, this stuff sticks like crazy...perfect for boxes.
I wanted to add a sparkly look to the letters so I used my Wink of Stella glitter brush...love that little touch of sparkle :)
I re-sized the Hello Kitty just a little to 1.949 along with the layers. I added some fun pink midnight Trendy Twine that I picked up a while ago and tucked a double bow under the center piece for a fun look. I added rosy cheeks and a few freckles to this cutie.

The box was filled with some yummy red sour balls. Ofta, are they ever sour BUT perfect for little kiddo's, right? I tied on Princess Party Pink ribbon from Lovebug Creations and poked in a cute little banner.
I used Jaded Blossoms Treat Flag Die and stamped the sentiment with Jaded Blossoms Simple Sayings stamp set.
A fun little summer treat for Arya's friend :)
These would be cute as a party favor for a child's birthday, a classroom party or even a summer picnic your attending for all those little girls...:)

Praying for you and your family

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi Everyone!
I hope you are all having a wonderful week and ready for the weekend~
A few weeks ago, I noticed a few of my blogger buddies were making "box cards".  I needed to make a sympathy card and thought I would try making one of these since it was new to me. It was really easy and different from your normal A2 card. I really like how fast they go together!
You should give it a try :)
I followed the video provided by My Creative Time. The papers I used are from Lasting
Impressions ~Periwinkle and Kiwi~pretty color combination :)
The pretty flourish is the Vignette Floral Branch  metal die. The butterfly metal dies are Murana  and Samirah all from Simon Says. I added a little Wink of Stella to them for a shimmery effect along with some rhinestones.  Isn't it just beautiful?
You also could easily change out the sentiment and this could be used for any occasion
A double bow was created with goblin green crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl JAM. The sentiment is stamped with The Deepest Sympathy stamp set from My Craft Spot.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Krafty Girls Challenge #27 Anything Goes
2.) DL.ART July Linky Party
3.) Word Art Wednesday Challenge #141 Anything Goes

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi Everyone!
I hope you are enjoying your day!
It sure has been a beautiful weekend here in Minnesota~Can you believe it is mid July? Oh my goodness, this summer is cruising by SO fast. We always pack so much in and it just seems to fly by. But, we have to take advantage of our summers since it gets so darn cold here in the winter, lol!

One of Ayra's little friends has a birthday coming up next week. So, today I  have a cute little card to share with you using Peachy Keen Stamp set called Elephant Parade that I made for Arya to give her.  We are hoping to find circus tickets to add to the inside of the card to as part of her gift, if not.... then tickets to the zoo. Something fun for the little kiddo's to do in the summer :)
I have a cute little card to share with you using Peachy Keen Stamp set called Elephant Parade. I started with a white card base then followed with a base layer using papers from Authentique~Delightful collection. I cut a small panel and added a border using  My Craft Spot's Fancy Edges 2 metal die from the last release. I then wrapped some posy trendy twine and tied a bow.
I colored the cute little elephant with copics (which I desperately need practice with) and matted it onto a square that I distressed using the DIA. I added a couple fun skittles from my friend Carri'. The little doily label is My Craft Spot's Tiny Doilies metal die and the sentiment is from Craftin Desert Diva's Simply Said stamp set.
I filled a cello bag with yummy bag of frosted animal cookies to go along with the card. The tag is My Creative Time's Just Tags metal die/stamp set. I stamped the sweet treats which is also from Craftin Desert Diva's stamp set called Simply Said.
