Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi Everyone!
Wow, can you believe we are at the end of August already? Yikes! The summer has flown by so fast ~I can't believe it's time for school to begin again!
I hope you have a wonderful Labor Day weekend and have a lot of fun things planned. I am definitely going to take all my spare time to play catch up AND get in my craft room...I am so ready for that!! Yippee!
A few weeks ago Arya and I dropped off a few goody baskets at the local coffee shop I go to for some of the girls who are leaving for college. Well, I recently was asked by the owner if I would be kind enough to make a few back to school cards for her that she could also give to the girls leaving.
Of course, I said I would be happy to:)

I went right to the Silhouette Store and found this adorable shaped card and cut it on my cameo. I used papers from Echo Park-Dots & Stripes for the apple and the rest from my scrap bin:)
The little worm is cut at 2 1/2 from an oldie but goody cartridge~Create A Critter. I stamped the face with PK1357 Sweet on You stamp set. I colored in the eyes, used glossy assents, added rosy cheeks and freckles. Cute, ha?
The tag is inked with TH frayed burlap and the sentiment and flourish is stamped with My Craft Spot's Tiny Tags 2 stamp set.
I made a smaller layer of the apple for the inside and stamped the sentiment with My Craft Spot's Banner Sentiments. I finished with tying on a fun bow using ribbon from my stash.
