Hi Everyone!
The weekend is here once again...don't they come and go fast? I wanted to share a quick card with you before we leave out of town for a few days. I also am feeling a bit sad that I just haven't had a lot of time to blog or craft much :( This summer has been so busy but it is about to slow down real soon here and I will get back to my craft room and some blogging:)

I am sure you have heard me mention about all the summer weddings we have been invited to not to mentions my son's wedding which is around the corner. Well, I am definitely needing to make a few so here is one to share with you today...more to come!
This is for my niece who is getting married this weekend:)
I used a few new dies and stamps on this one which have been sitting around in my craft room for sometime...it's time to get busy and use these goodies!
I started with My Creative Time's Surprise Pop Out Card die for the base. What a fun die...I know I
will use this a lot!
The little hearts are the Stitched Scalloped Heart die also from My Creative Time. I stamped the adorable faces using PK-173 Great Vibes Robots. I finished with a fun little flower that I picked up at Inspired by Stamping and the hat was just fussy cut out and adhered in place.

The sentiments are stamped with My Craft Spot's Happily Ever After stamp set-one of my favorites! I stamped and fussy cut the car from the PKSC-27 March14 stamp set using scrap papers and pieced it together.I finished with adding a touch of Wink of Stella to the headlights and cans and tied on a pretty double satin bow.

Super cute project, love those sweet Peachy faces you used. I know what you mean about Summer weddings. My nephew is getting married next weekend and we have been super busy every weekend dealing with wedding stuff. Hope you have a great weekend with your family!

This is both adorable and gorgeous at the same time, Sherrie!! I love those faces on the hearts!! They are too cute!! The just married car is awesome!! Love the pretty papers, too!! Your niece and her soon-to-be hubby will adore it!! It's fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteTravel safely this weekend!! I hope everything goes smoothly with the wedding!! Hopefully you will be able to relax soon and just take it easy. I can't seem to find the time to craft, either. I have so many things going on besides crafting that I'm lucky if I get in my craft room twice a week. Then I have to scramble to get my DT projects done. I haven't made anything just for the fun of it in so long. I don't see it slowing down any time soon so most of my posts are just my commitments. But at least it keeps me crafting, even if it's not as much as I would like :) Have a wonderful wedding!! Best wishes to your niece!! Safe travels!! Big hugs my sweet friend :)

Talk about beautiful , fun and gorgeous !!! Wonderful card you have made !!! I hope you have a wonderful weekend and enjoy your niece's wedding !!! I completely understand how you are feeling in regards to the summer and crafting , I had to sadly make some tough choices about design teams . I felt a bit overwhelmed and realized I was taking on a bit too much . With my three boys , my youngest being two I realized I needed to reorganize my priorities :) . I hope things get easier for you my friend and that you get back to your crafting as often as you like !!!

ReplyDeleteOh Sherrie ~ I ADORE this card! I LOVE that you used that die for the base! Then add those PKS stamps ~ BRILLIANT and ADORABLE card! I bet the couple just loved their card! Oh I totally get your comment about not having time to craft! Hopefully things settle down for both of us soon!
