Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi Everyone!
I hope your having a great week so far :)
I hope your having a great week so far :)
For those of you that follow me know that this summer has been filled with weddings. I have a niece on my side~that just got married last weekend. My son's is next weekend.........yeah! I still have another niece and nephew on my hubbies side coming up next month. Anyway, that is what has been limiting me to crafting & blogging:( Oh', I've been crafting BUT it's been for bridal showers, wedding decorations, party favors, invites, etc. I will be happy when I can get back to crafting other than wedding stuff, lol!
I am SO excited I found a little time to get in my craft room today, yeah!!! I am dying to get some time to craft and play in some challenges that are going on. I also have some fun new supplies that I can't wait to create with them soon :)

I have a quick card to share with you using some of my favorite stamps and dies from My Craft Spot! There are even some awesome challenges out that I've been wanting to play in :)
My Craft Spot's challenge this week is: 3D flowers.....doesn't it sound fun?
My Craft Spot's challenge this week is: 3D flowers.....doesn't it sound fun?
I started with a card base and base layer using the Spellbinders 5 x 7 Enchanted Labels 28 die. The papers are from DCWV La Creme paper stack. I used my favorite color combo's from this stack-aren't they pretty?
I layered a Spellbinders Label 17 which was embossed with the SU chevron folder and I inked the edges with TH frayed burlap. I followed with a Spellbinder Opulent Oval and then again another Label 17.
I stamped the beautiful sentiment with My Craft Spot's Chalkboard Sentiments stamp set. The flower is created by using the new Daisy metal die, the Rolled Roses metal die and the leaves are cut at 1 1/2 from the Art Philosophy cartridge.
The beautiful butterfly is cut a 1" and 1 1/4" also from the Art Philosophy cartridge. I finished by adding some fun pearls and a pretty double bow.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) My Craft Spot Challenge #148 3D Flowers
2.)Sweet Stamps Challenge #182 In the Garden
3.) Die Cuttin Diva's Challenge #178 Favorite Color Combination
4.) Little Scrap Pieces Show it off Saturday Linky
5.) DL.ART August Linky Party
