Beware

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hello Everyone!
Happy Monday~I hope you had a great weekend!
Wow, was it ever beautiful here in MN. The temperatures hit the high 70's....just gorgeous for this time of year! I still can't believe September is about over...yikes, where has the month gone?!
Today, I have a cute Halloween treat holder to share with you. I hope your not getting bored with all the Halloween projects I have been posting.......I am having so much fun making them, lol!
I found this treat holder from the Silhouette Store for this project and cut it on my Cameo. I have a couple special kids that come around for Halloween each year so this is for them :)
The spooky little zombies are from PK1418  Faceless Zombies Kid 2 stamp set.  I paper pieces them together, colored some of the features in with copics, added glossy accents and finally a little doodling. The faces are stamped using PK1419 Cranky Franky stamp set. Then using foam dots, adhered them in place.
Aren't they fun for Halloween?
The drippy gooey border was part of the file which was inked with walnut stain and then added glossy accents to it for a fun look. I tied on some orange sparkly tulle, an orange licorice twine bow from Trendy Twine and a fun brad to the center that was in my stash. I also added some fun skittles from my sweet friend, Carri.
The larger candy bars fits perfectly and I know the kiddo's will love that over those small bite sizes any day, right?
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) My Craft Spot Challenge #153 Sweet Treats
2.) Craftin Desert Diva's Linky #41 Anything but a card
3.) Decorate to Celebrate Challenge #84 Anything Goes
4.) Peachy Keen Challenge 14-3 Fall/Halloween Photo Inspired

Blast From The Past~Eat if you DARE!

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hello Everyone and Happy Thursday!
I wanted to pop in and join the fun challenge going on this week at My Craft Spot!
Super easy and fun.....
The challenge is called "Blast from the Past"
Just pick a project that you have created sometime in the past using My Craft Spot products. Create a new post and link up~ Easy, ha?

So, here is one of my favorites from the past (last October) using My Craft Spot's Spooky Treats stamp set & the Jar Basics metal die set :
The witch's boot was a file from the Silhouette Store and cut on my Cameo. The double sided paper I used was from Echo Park. I added a fun look by adding some boa I had in my stash along with some cute gingham ribbon for lacing up the boot:)
The spider on the tip of the boot is from the Mini Monster cartridge. I filled a cello bag with yummy Hershey chocolate kisses. I tied on a cute tag using My Craft Spot's Jar Basic  metal die set and I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment with Spooky Treats stamp set.
Have a super day!

I picked up this adorable little chalkboard at the Silhouette Store and cut it on my Cameo. I embossed the outer edge piece with a sizzix folder~came in a Christmas pack.
The little corner piece is Spellbinders Moroccan Accents which I used the glitter Wink of Stella to add a shimmery look.
The cute witch is also from the Silhouette Store which I cut and adhered in place. I tied a bow to the broom with Trendy Twine's grape licorice  and a splash of Wink of Stella to the witch for a
sparkly/shimmery look.
The sentiment is My Craft Spot's Spooky Treats stamp set, heat embossed with white powder and then ran some chalk over it to give the chalkboard effect. I love how it turned out:) I also added some faux stitching with a white jelly pen around the edges of the chalkboard.

Hope You Don't Mind A Bit Of Drool?

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hello Everyone!
I hope you are having a fantastic weekend! We have had a really nice day here today. A little cool, but sunny~A perfect fall day :)

I had a little time in my craft room this afternoon so I whipped up a treat idea for Halloween! I used Jaded Blossom's newer Scallop Slider and Topper Die which is so fun because it has the slits to slide the candy right through the center. You could even add a gift card or other type of treat~a lot of possibilities!
The skeleton was stamped using PK1422 Poseable Skeleton stamp set and I fussy cut around it and added some fun glossy accents to the body for a fun look.
The little label is cut at 1" from the Lacy Labels cartridge and I stamped the sentiment with PK1419 Cranky Franky stamp set, heat embossed it with black embossing powder.
I finished by tying on some gray tulle and viola...done! Quick & Easy for mass producing!
Fun ha?
Oh yeah...I also slipped in a couple pixy sticks for the treat :) Yum!
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Jaded Blossom Challenge~Anything Treat
2.) Bitten By the Bug 2 Challenge-Use any Cricut cut

Today, I am sharing a fun Halloween treat box idea using some fun new products from
My Craft Spot's latest release :)

I found this fun 3D Ghost treat box at the Silhouette Store~Design #64969 and cut it on my Cameo. The pattern papers are from Bo Bunny and the solid colored papers are from my scrap bin.
The black panel was embossed with the skeleton scroll folder and adhered in place. I added a drippy gooey border and then added glossy accents for a fun look.
The cute ghost was inked around the edges with black memento and then spritzed with perfect pearl mist by Ranger.
The face is stamped with PK-691 Make a Monster Face set. I colored the eyes in using copics and added glossy accents. I stamped "boo" using My Craft Spot's new Batty For You stamp set.  The little bats are from the new Halloween Shapes metal die set.
Cute ha?

Have a Happy Day

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi Everyone!
I hope your having a fantastic day!
Today, I have a fun little box to share with you. I made it to hold some chocolates and a gift card for a friends birthday. Of course, the gift card for this buddy is for a craft store~I don't know about you.. but for me, a gift card in a craft store is truly celebrating like a kid in a candy store!!! LOL!
I cut the gable box at 4" from the Artiste cartridge. The 3 pattern papers I used are from a DCWV paper stack called La Creme. It's an older stack but I sure like the papers!
The label is a Spellbinders Fancy Frame Tags 2. I distressed the edges with frayed burlap and then used sparkling ice glitter along the edges. I stamped the sentiment with My Craft Spot's Build A Birthday stamp set. The flower is created with  My Craft Spot's Daisy and Rolled Roses flower metal dies and then rolled in sparkling ice glitter along with a fun gem in the center. I tucked in these pretty leaves cut from Poppystamps Dies called the Lovely Tendril die.
I tied on a bow with Midnight Black crinkle ribbon, added a small flower from stash and a cute little tag. For the tag I used the Ting Tags metal die and then stamped the sentiment with the Tiny Tags 2 stamp set and inked the edges with frayed burlap.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Scrapy Land Challenge #1 Anything Goes
(need to incorporate one (or more) die brands that Scrappy Land sells (Poppystamps & Spellbinders)

Thank You

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi Everyone!
I hope you are all having a great week so far!
Boy, has the weather ever changed here the last couple of days...in the 40's! Brrrr...not ready for that yet! I have been seeing so many Halloween projects in blogland and lovin' the inspiration but before get started on that, I have a fun little thank you card to share using My Craft Spot's Chunky Alphabet stamp set and the Heart Border metal die set.
I folded one flap of the card back in half and then using the Heart Border metal die, I carefully ran the heart die through the cuttlebug only part of the way. I re~placed the heart die and repeated that step two more times. I also cut red hearts to layer on top and adhered them down.
The lacy scallop edging in from a Martha Stewart punch and then I stamped the thank you using the Chunky Alphabet stamp set. I tied on small little bows with ribbon from my stash :)
The inside pattern paper is from Echo Park~Sweet Girl. I cut a panel and layered a Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight. I then followed with a Labels Seventeen which I embossed with the swiss dots folder. This adorable little girl is from the Silhouette store and the face is stamped with PKSC-21 September 2013 stamp set. I added rosy cheeks, some freckles, glossy accents and doodling to finish it up.

Once again, using some fun stamps that I picked up from my friend Tara at Craftin Desert Divas. It is called Simply Said and does it ever have some CUTE sentiments on it :) Be sure to go check it out...it is definitely one you should have in your craft room!
I started with a longer style card base/envelope from Lasting Impressions and then popped this sweet clown on it with foam dots.
The clown is from the Silhouette Store which was cut on my cameo, design #44173. I stamped the sweet face using PK-1401 Clowning Around Face stamp set. Oooh, so cute, ha?  I colored in the eyes, added some rosy cheeks and then glossy accents. I also added glossy accents on the hat tassel and the buttons on the clowns suit.
Isn't he just adorable?
I added brackets on the top and bottom of card using My Creative Times Stitched Bracket Die. I stamped the sentiments and the XO's with Craftin Desert Divas Simply Said stamp set. I finished it up by adding a fun little double bow using 3 Girl JAM sunflower crinkle ribbon.

Just Because

Hello and Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Good Afternoon my crafty friends!
Happy Monday and Happy Labor Day :)
Today, I have a fun card to share with you using stamps from my friend Tara over at Craftin Desert Divas. I coordinated two of the sets for this card. They are called Simply Said and Blooming For You. Tara also has a linky party going on so be sure to head over there and play in the challenge!
The details are HERE
I started with a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card base and followed with 3 panels about 1/8" increments. Then distressed all the edges with the zutter DIA. I then used Nesting Eyelet Square dies for the next layers.
The adorable bear is from the Blooming For You stamp set which I colored with copics and then a touch of Wink of Stella glitter pen for a shimmery effect.
I tied on a pretty bow with ribbon from SU that was in my bin. The pink Jute String bow is from My Craft Spot and then a small flower that was added to the center which was from my stash.
The tag is cut at 1 1/2 from Art Philosophy cartridge and the sentiment is stamped with the Simply Said stamp set and then tied on. The corners have citrus skittles that I picked up from my friend Carri.
For the inside, I used SU punches for the circle and the scallop.  I stamped the sentiment and the butterfly all from the Blooming For You stamp set.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Craftin Desert Divas Linky Party-Anything Goes
