Christmas Joy

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion!
Hi Everyone!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are having a good start to a new week! I have been away for the last 4 days at a fun scrap retreat~I had such a wonderful time getting away and doing fun crafts, shopping and spending time with my friends!
I think I did more talking, goofing around then actually crafting, hehe!
It was a good time by all:)

I have a fun treat box to share with you today. Did you know that Kimberly at My Craft Spot has SVG files? This is a darling present box I picked up over at her store and it was super easy to cut out and I can't wait to make more.
Be sure to pop over to the store and check out here amazing files!
The present box is a svg cut file and cut on my cameo~ The papers I chose are  from Recollections~Sugar Plum collection. Such a pretty pack:)
After cut out and assembled, I added a darling tag.
The tag was created with the coordinating Tiny Doilies metal die and I stamped the sentiment with the Merry & Bright stamp set. I tied the tag on with green Jute String and finished with a bow and a couple gems from my stash.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) My Craft Spot Challenge #158 3D Christmas
2.) DL.ART Thankful Thursday~Anything Christmas
3.) Decorate to Celebrate Challenge #88 Anything Goes
4.) Little Scrap Pieces Show it off Saturday
5.) Jo's Scrap Shack Fun-Day Friday~Anything Goes

  2. Oh how wonderful Sherrie! You know I think I've always spent more time chatting at those types of events than actually getting my stuff done! I think it's a crafter thing! Haha! I LOVE your present gift box! I made one too which looks similar to yours and I've had my done for weeks now! HA! I guess great crafters think alike more than we know! :o) Wonderfully done! Have a great day! ;)

  5. This is absolutely gorgeous, Sherrie!! I love the pretty papers you used!! This box is next on my list to try cutting with the Explore!! I hope mine comes out as beautifully as yours!!

I'm glad you had a great time at the retreat!! It sounds like so much fun!! I know I would have spent more time chatting than crafting, too ;) I hope you aren't buried under too much snow. We have about 2 inches on the ground but the temps are downright frigid. Like zero with wind chills in the negatives. It's still November!! I dread the coming winter. I may never leave my craft room ;) Have a wonderful day my friend!! Big hugs :)

  25. Sherrie, your gift box looks amazing! I love those fun, festive papers (perhaps because I've that that paper pack too)! They're just perfect on your box. What a great tag as well! I'm always happy to see you post projects at MCS. I miss you!

I'm so glad you were able to get away for a few days. It sounds like so much fun! You do enough crafting in your spare time so you deserved some giddy time.
