I have a fun project to share with you that I made for a friend of mine who had a birthday recently. She has a super funny sense of humor and is such a goof ball that I thought this stamp set would be perfect to make her a card:

I stamped the image with Girlfriends~Picture Perfect stamp set from Art Impressions and colored it with copics. I got this new stamp set from my sis (who loves to give me grief, as I am the oldest) as a gift and finally opened the package to use it on this fun card!
The image just makes me giggle inside! I can just see us girls doing this when we are on our girls weekend hanging out. Don't they look like they are having a fun?

I happen to be at a craft fair in early December and saw this fun wine glass...I knew I had to get it for her. I grabbed a cello bag and filled it up with some yummy chocolates and tied on a little tag. The tag is cut at 3" from the Art Philosophy cartridge. I stamped the sentiment with My Craft Spot's Big Sentiments stamp set and finished with a pretty bow. Of course, I brought the bottle of wine to...we had to celebrate, right?!

oh goodness Sherrie! this has me giggling. what an absolutely FUN stamp set...i love these type of fun and sassy stamps...and the wine glass...va voom! i have to put up with a lot of grief as well...i'm the oldest and turned 50 in august so i understand your "pain" have a fantastic week and a wonderful 2015!

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year my friend! I hope you have had some time to relax and enjoy the family! We sure slowed things down and took a trip to the local mountains and spent some time in the SNOW! Can you believe I was knee deep in snow :) We loved every minute of it!

ReplyDeleteHehe that is one funny image... love it! And I'm sure the recipient had a kick out of it too.... love that wine glass filled with those yummies.... I'm done from those Christmas images, don't want to see them until maybe summer when I start working on them for this coming Christmas...For now, it's going to be what I already have pre-scheduled on my to do list, LOL!

ReplyDeleteI hope you are having a wonderful start to the new year!! I still can't seem to get to my craft room. It looks like I will maybe be posting two cards a week (if I'm lucky). It's cold here and it dusted snow yesterday but thankfully none on the ground. Have a wonderful Monday my sweet friend!! Big hugs :)
