I'm so glad you're my friend

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hello Everyone!
It definitely has been a cold one here the past few days....I think I have add enough of winter!!
Is anyone else ready for spring yet? Today I have a spring like card to share with you using some darling stamps from Great Impressions.

I started with the Spellbinders Lattice Rectangle for a pretty base and base layer. The pattern papers are from Simple Stories and Lasting Impressions. I followed with Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Rectangle and another one that I stamped the image onto. I distressed the edges with TH spiced marmalade.
I had won a $20 shopping spree at the Great Impressions Store for winning the January challenge. So,  I picked up this adorable image called Sweet Chick~G499 along with some other awesome stamps which I will share soon.  I colored it with copics and paper pieced some for dimension. I used my Wink of Stella pen to give it a little sparkle to.
Isn't this chickie just the cutest?
The sentiment is stamped with My Friend B181~also from Great Impressions. I splatted a little Peach Delight glimmer mist on the image and  finished with a fun satin bow using ribbon from my stash along with a paper flower in the center.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Scrapy Land Challenge #12 Splat! Plus any brand die they sell (Spellbinders)

Happy Birthday...

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hello Everyone and Happy Tuesday!
I hope you all had a great weekend! I was able to get some snuggling in with baby Lacy and of course some time in with Arya as well.~It sure is hard to want to do anything else!

The other day I posted a card and actually decided to make a few more since they went together so quickly:) I was going to post both samples and my camera battery died before I could get all the pictures..so today, here is the other one~just switched out papers and colors a bit:)
I found this cute little present at Miss Kate Cuttables and cut it out on my Cameo. The papers are from Paper Studio and Echo Park-Fine and Dandy.
After piecing these together, I added a little doodling, some foam dimension and adhered it in place. I finish with stamping the sentiment using Jaded Blossoms Simple Sayings stamp set and tying on a pretty blue bow.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Little Scrap Pieces Show it off Saturday
2.) DL.ART February Linky~Anything Goes

I was in need of some birthday cards so I thought I would take advantage of sneaking in my room today to make a few:)

Pretzel sticks

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hi Everyone!
I hope you are having a great week so far!
My week is moving right along~I am a little behind these days due to a lot of snuggling going on with my new Granddaughter!

I know Valentine's Day is over but I thought I would share an order I did for a friend of mine who wanted some pretzel rods made up for Valentine's Day. You could easily switch this up for St Patty's Day or any holiday for that matter :)
Pretzel sticks are so fun & easy to make and the little ones love them :)
I went on a mission to find a fun tag to create to fit the theme. My tag and cute little bear were found at the Silhouette Store.  After cutting the tag, I used the print and cut feature on the Cameo for the darling bear. This feature makes it so quick to mass produce!
The sentiment is stamped with My Creative Time's Best Bots Forever stamp set. I added a few touches with some doodling, glossy accents, twine and tulle and viola, done!
 Hope she likes them!
I am entering these in the following challenges:

You make my heart beep!

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hi Everyone!
I hope your having a great day and had a wonderful weekend!
Today I have a fun shaker card to share with you using some goodies from My Creative Time's
latest release! I couldn't wait to use some of the new dies and stamps~so many fun ones in this release and a lot of possibilities!
I started with a white card and followed with layers using pattern papers fro Recollections. I have distressed the edges with the Zutter DIA for a fun look.
The heart is My Creative Time's Heart 2 Heart Love Frames which I made a shaker with. I cut out the base heart layer, then the heart with the love on it~cut about 6 times to give it a little height to create the shaker window.
I stamped a fun sentiment to the center using Best Bots Forever and finished with little sequins. I layered a heart on top which was cut out of acetate and adhered it in place. I place one more heart layer with the love on top, adhered it in place and done.
The little robot is also from the Best Bots Forever. The set comes with the stamp to stamp the image and coordinating die so you don't have to fussy cut around it, yeah! I colored this cutie with copics and touched up with the Wink of Stella pen for a little sparkle.  I tied on SU lost Lagoon ribbon and tied a bow. I finished with a red jute bow and a red embellishment to the center.
So, what do you think?
I am entering this in the following challenges:
