Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hello Everyone & Happy Thursday!
The week is sure flying by fast ha? I still can't believe it is almost June?! So, do you have a lot planned for the summer? We have a few weddings coming up in June, a family reunion and a new Granddaughter on the way in about 5 wks...life is busy!
Today I have a couple birthday cards to share with you using a darling cut file from My Scrap Chick called Dancing Candles. I have had them for a while and finally got a chance to cut them, cute ha??
I can see these cuties also on a gift bag or even a treat favor :)
I started with the Spellbinders Card Creator S5-131 for my base and base layer of my card. I used this die set also for the smaller panels~it is a handy, go to kind of die set. The papers are from Paper Studio and some scraps in my scrap bin for the candles.
After piecing them together, I did a little doodling and added some fun eyelashes. Thank you Theresa for sharing the face tutorials~love them! The vertical panels are stamped using My Creative Time's Fun Vertical Greetings stamp set.
I am also entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Seize the Birthday Anything Goes~Birthday theme
2.) The Pink Elephant #300~Anything Goes
3.) Silhouette Challenges #25~Anything Goes
4.) DL.ART May Linky~Anything Goes
5.) Scrapy Land Challenge #18 Birthday/Celebrations~Use a brand die they sell (Spellbinders)
