How are ya doing? I hope you had a great weekend and are having a great week so far! We had a pretty good weekend. The weddings were wonderful but we had a little one get sick on us~boo!
Yeah, little Lacy has been sick since Friday and finally feeling better. It is always a bummer when you are away from home but we managed to get through it all. On a brighter note, Arya had a blast as flower girl and was so stinken cute!

We have the fun PDE Linky Party going on with the theme being "Sunshine". It's not my week but I still wanted to join in the fun and use some of these new goodies I have recently purchased from Jaded Blossoms. We would love for you to come join in the challenge...Go HERE for the details :)
Here is my project:
I started with a 5 x 5 card base followed with a base layer in red. The following layer is created using Jaded Blossoms Scallop Square Dies with pattern paper from Echo Park~Fine and Dandy collection.

I started with a 5 x 5 card base followed with a base layer in red. The following layer is created using Jaded Blossoms Scallop Square Dies with pattern paper from Echo Park~Fine and Dandy collection.
The fun balloon is stamped with Jaded Blossoms Up, Up and Away stamp set and fussy cut out. I used foam tape for a little dimension and little skittles for a fun look. The sun is from Jaded Blossoms Spring Dies 2 and the face is stamped with PK-1357 Sweet on You stamp set. I added rosy cheeks, freckles and glossy accents.
I finished with a sentiment that is stamped with Up, Up and Away stamp set. The pretty bow cluster is created using crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl JAM and button/twine from my stash.

ReplyDeleteThis is so adorable, Sherrie!! That face is so sweet!! I love how you colored it and added the rosy cheeks!! The balloon is fabulous!! The skittles are such a perfect touch!! The papers are so sunny and summery!! And I love how the chevron pattern on the button matches the background paper!! Absolutely gorgeous card my friend!! It will definitely bring a smile to the recipient!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad sweet Lacy is feeling better. Not fun getting sick away from home. And oh, I bet Arya was so adorable as the flower girl!! How fun for her!! I'm glad you were able to squeeze in some time in your craft room...I miss you my friend!! Summer is busy enough and then with all you've got going on, I don't know how you managed to make such a beautiful card!! I hope you have a wonderful weekend with company!! I have to go because it just started to rain here and I'm sitting on the deck!! It's supposed to be a bad storm so crossing fingers we don't lose power. Have a wonderful Wednesday my dear friend!! ANd I really hope that your sweet grand baby starts to feel better. It's never fun when the little ones get sick. Still waiting to see photos from the wedding. I'm sure it was a beautiful wedding!
