Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hello Everyone!
I hope you are having a great day:)
I am super excited today to be Guest Designing today for my sweet friend, Diana over at DL.ART.
I was asked to do a project themed~fall food.
Well, as soon as the store's have these yummy candies in the fall, I am all over it! Who doesn't like candy corn (all time favorite) and Reese's pieces peanut butter..yum?!
So, I made some yummy candy sticks for the little ones and added a cute little tag to each one using
My Creative Time's stamps and dies. With Halloween quickly approaching, I thought I would get started on some for Arya's friends.

The tag is My Creative Time's~Just Tag Die. The sweet little mummy is from the Too Cute to Spook stamp/die set. I colored them with copics and Wink of Stella for a little sparkle :)
The little ghost was in this set as well~double bonus!
The sentiment is also stamped with the Too Cute to Spook~As you can see, this is a fun stamp/die set. Perfect for Halloween treats and/or projects!!! I finished by tying bows onto the treats with Sooty Pumpkin crinkle ribbon that I got from DL.ART. Diana has a lot of fun colors available~you can check it out right HERE.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Paper Issues Challenge Fan-atics Halloween
2.) Cut it Up Challenge #82 Halloween Tags
3.) Die Cuttin Divas Challenge #238 Picture Inspiration

My next project is also a yummy treat for this time of year:
Caramel Apples.....YUM!
I started with SVG Cutting Files~ Decorative Edge Box. The cute paper is from Echo Parks~Dots and Stripes. The label is Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight which I stamped the sentiment onto it using Jaded Blossoms~Harvest Signs stamp set. I then wrapped on some Trendy Twine~Cherry Latte and tied a double bow.
The apple is Jaded Blossoms~Caramel Apple stamp set. I stamped, paper pieced, fussy cut it out and added a touch of glossy accents to the caramel. I finished with little skittles from DoubleClick in the corners of the label.
I package the yummy caramel apple in a gusset bag and tied on some ribbon from Stampin Up. The little tag is Jaded Blossoms~Mini Tag Die and the sentiment again from the Caramel Apple stamp set.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Decorate to Celebrate Challenge #111 Anything Goes

ReplyDeleteHope you guys are doing well. I know you have some cool weather, which is probably nice right now!
Can you believe we were at the beach yesterday after school. It was so warm and Karate was canceled so we took the boys down to surf. I just can't believe it's summer weather in the middle of October. It has cooled down a bit... 80 and I'm fine with that. The high 90's and humid was killing us.
Have a GREAT evening!
Shelly
