Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hello Everyone!
I hope you're all having a wonderful week~I have been on slow speed as I am struggling with a nasty cold :( I am also in the middle of packing up my craft room as my new counter tops and cabinets will be in at the end of the month. I did not realize just how much "stuff" I have, yikes! I suppose after 20+ yrs of crafting, it collects,ha?! I did part with a whole lot, narrowed down and purged some. You know the saying goes~"out with the old and in with the new", right? Anyway, hope to be back in my craft room and out of my temporary spot by mid to end of December, organized and ready to craft!

So, are you getting ready for the holidays? Eeek, it's coming fast and so much to do! Today, I have some adorable little treat boxes all set and ready for gift giving.
I used Jaded Blossoms Scallop Caddy Die for the adorable boxes. This die is a "must have"..so many possibilities! The sentiments are with Jaded Blossom Season's Tweetings and Pretty Cute Stamps Warm Winter Wishes stamp sets. So adorable and perfect for my projects today!
The images are also from the Pretty Cute Stamps Warm Winter Wishes stamp set which are colored with copics and then Wink of Stella for a little sparkle. Aren't they just the cutest? The bows are all tied with chevron twill ribbon from Pretty Pink Posh.

ReplyDeleteThese are so absolutely adorable, Sherrie!! I love those sweet images!! The color-coordinated ribbons and papers are awesome!! And what perfect sentiments, too!! You make the most fabulous treat boxes my friend!! I love, love these!! Thank you so much for playing along at DL.ART!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling much better soon. I hate when a cold sticks around too long. No fun. It's cold weather here...it's been raining pretty much non-stop for two days and today we have strong winds. At least the temps are in the high 50's so the rain is staying water and not the white stuff :) Your craft room makeover - how exciting!! I need to go through all of my cabinets and drawers and purge...and maybe find some treasures I forgot about ;) You have to post pics when you get it all done!! Good luck with the project and feel much better soon my sweet friend!! Have a wonderful day!! Get well hugs :)

ReplyDeleteYour treat boxes are so adorable! I love how they are each color coordinated. So sorry to hear you are not feeling well. I read on a blog the other day an old folk lore. It said if you can catch a falling leaf in mid-air before Autumn is over, you will not catch cold all winter. I was so sick last winter that I need to run out and catch an armful!!!
