THANK hoo For All You Do

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps
Hello Everyone and Happy Monday!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend and a GREAT Mother's Day!!! We spent it with our kids and grand kids~life it GOOD!  So sorry I have been missing in blog land some~We are still helping my daughter, son in law and family move. We have been helping watch the girls or unpacking, painting, etc! A lot going on that is taking me away from crafting for a bit!  I will be back at it real soon so hopefully, you hang in there with me :)
I whipped these up in no time at all last week for Teacher Appreciation week! It's a darling file I found at the Silhouette Store #72741~Lip Balm Owl Hearts and cut on my Cameo. I made one similar a few days ago using different papers and sentiments. Just scroll down to check it out~

These will be going to Arya's Preschool Teachers who are simply amazing and do such a wonderful job each day.
She was SO excited to give them to her Teachers :)
I had some larger pieces of paper in my scrap bin which I determined to use up any chance I get and that is what I did here. The cute sentiment is from Jaded Blossom~You're a Hoot stamp set and stamped onto a tag from the Mini Tag Dies.
After packaging them up, I tied on some yummy ribbon from my stash and a cute tag. The tag, again is stamped with You're a Hoot onto a Card Mat Dies. Viola, done!
All set for someone special~
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) DoubleClick Challenge~Teacher Appreciation (school related)
2.) DL.ART May Linky Challenge~Anything Goes
3.) Little Scrap Pieces Show it Off Saturday

  5. Oh, these are so sweet, Sherrie!! The little owls are absolutely adorable!! I love the colors and papers you used!! What a thoughtful and fabulous gift for Arya's teachers!! I know they loved them!! I need to follow in your footsteps and use up my scrap pile...it's threatening to take over!! I literally have drawers and drawers of scraps. I could use them for a year and still not make a dent. Does it stop me from buying more paper? Nope!! It's a sickness, I know ;)

I'm so glad you had a wonderful mother's day with your family!! I hope things are coming along nicely with the move!! How nice it will be to have the closer!! I hope the girls are all doing great and having a wonderful spring!! I've had to bust out the winter clothes again...it's been rainy and chilly here for days. I want sunshine and warmth!! I hope you have a fabulous week my sweet friend!! Happy Monday!! Big hugs :)

  10. These are so, so cute! Love the pinks and blues and that great sentiment. Mother's Day was quiet around here - no grands :( I did get to spend the day with my Mama and the day before with my sweet Mother-in-law, so it was all good. Hopefully the grands will be arriving in early June for our VBS program!
