Brown paper packages tied up with strings

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hi Everyone!
I hope you are having a good week so far~
Today I am sharing a quick little project using some of Jaded Blossoms fun stamps and dies. I made a cute card and a matching gift package to hold a treat and some fun craft supplies to give to a few of my crafty friends, just because. I was recently tagged by my blogger buddy, Migdalia last week to participate in Technique Tuesday's Random Act of Cardness. What a fun idea....all you have to do is send out some cards for no reason other than to put a smile on someones face :)
I embossed the back with a Sizzix folder. The clouds and sun are created with Spring Dies 2 and the face is stamped with PK Bucket List Emojis Face Asst. I layered a Panel Die and stamped the sentiment with Simple Sayings stamp set. The little birdies are from TH and colored with Copics.
I also have a fun little package filled with some stickles and washi tape. I dressed the little kraft bags from Annie's Paper Boutique with a Luggage Tag Die and stamped with the Special Packaging stamp set. I tied a bow with black licorice trendy twine to finish it up :)
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Jaded Blossoms August Challenge~Crafter's Choice
2.) Die Cuttin Divas Challenge #281 Anything Goes
3.) DL.ART Challenge #187 Tags

Made Just For You!

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hello Everyone!
Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend :)
I had so much fun creating these projects for today.  I used this gorgeous paper from DCWV called Boho Style that Megan from DCWV sent me. I LOVE this paper in this stack! It has printed cardstock with copper foil...so pretty!!! I can't wait to make more projects with it!
Thanks so much Megan~
This cute little 3D rectangle gift box and candy box favor below are from the Silhouette store and cut on my cameo. I decorated the front with a tag that was created with the file from the candy box favor.
I tucked a few Memory Box Chloe Stems beneath the scallop and then layered a pretty flower using My Creative Time's~Rolled Flower Die.
So pretty!
The sentiments are stamped with My Creative Time's~Belly Band Stamp set. I finished with tying on Whipped Cream crinkle ribbon from my friend, Diana at DL.ART. Great little treat box for a birthday, wedding, anniversary, bridal shower etc. Many Possibilities!

Happy Birthday

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps
Hello my crafty friends!
I hope you are having a great week and ready for the weekend to begin?! Yes, another weekend~they sure do come and go quick, ha?
We are going to have our hands full with two of our granddaughters who will be staying with us this weekend :) We have tickets to take them to Thomas the Train, sponsored by the North Shore Scenic Railroad, lunch, the park and top it off by taking them to the movie. I am pretty sure we will be exhausted when they go home on Sunday, but it will be FUN!

Today, I am sharing a couple of cute birthday cards for Arya's little friends who have birthdays coming up. I used this cute little stamp set from Joy Clair Stamps and paired it up with some fun dies/stamps from Jaded Blossom as well.

I started with Jaded Blossoms Scallop Rectangle Dies 2 for the base. The base layer is the Rectangle Dies 1 and then followed with another Scallop panel.
I stamped this adorable image from Joy Clair Stamps~Hoppy Birthday stamp set onto that panel and colored it with copics. I added a fun birthday hat that is created with Jaded Blossoms Birthday Dies.
I stamped the sentiment with Jaded Blossoms Turtley Rad stamp set onto a Mini Tag Dies 2 and finished with a little bow using ribbon from my stash.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Seize the Birthday Challenge-Anything Goes
2.) Little Scrap Pieces Show it Off Saturday
3.) Simon Says Wed Challenge-Let's Go Wild

Adventure Awaits

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps
Hi everyone!
I hope you are having a great week~
I played in a challenge over at Frilly & Funkie and won a gift certificate from the The Funkie Junkie Boutique.  After looking in the boutique, I chose some crafting supplies that I could use for when I start my Christmas projects. Also, in my package of items, a couple of surprises.....there was this awesome image, button and some fun charms included. I have been holding onto them, thinking of what I could create with them and as soon as I saw
Frilly and Funkie's new challenge "By the Sea"and I knew this was the time.
Thanks again Linda for the fun little extras!
So, I got busy creating and this is what I came up with~
After choosing my card base and base layer, I followed with a pretty layer which I ran Viva Crackling Cream through a stencil from Folk Art for a crackling effect. After it dried, the next layer is Tim Holtz Sizzix Thinlits Mixed Media Die.  I then began to build the layers again doing the same process. I added cheesecloth for some texture. The sweet image is from Frilly and Funkie which I adhered onto a Jaded Blossom Luggage Tag Die.
I tucked beneath the tag (on the side) the sentiment which is stamped with Jaded Blossom's
Up, Up and Away stamp set. I embossed it with fantasy silver from Sweet Stamps. The butterflies are Jaded Blossoms Spring Dies 2  and embossed in shabby blue enamel embossing powder.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Frilly and Funkie Challenge~ By the Sea
2.) DL.ART Thankful Thursday~Challenge #185 Anything Goes
3.) DL.ART August Linky~Anything Goes
