Happy Fright Night

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hi Everyone!
I hope you are having a wonderful day!!!
This is another scheduled post as we are still on our vacation~

Today, I have a spooky Halloween card to share using Jaded Blossoms Halloween Treats 2 stamp set. I cut a black mat and then followed with another layer using glitter paper from my stash. I love the sparkle layers:)
I then ran texture paste through a Tim Holtz Halloween 1 stencil onto black cardstock. The stenciled web looks so cool ...don't ya think?
After it dried, I stamped the skeleton from the set and fussy cut it out. The banner is also fussy cut out and the spiders are Jaded Blossoms Halloween Dies. I ran a wink of stella over the spiders and finished with tying on some sheer ribbon.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Hiding in my Craft Room Challenge #268 Any Holiday
2.) DL.ART September Linky Anything Goes

Thank you for being a Great friend

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps
Hi Everyone!
I hope you are having a great day!
We are still on vacation through the week so I will be sharing some projects that are pre scheduled for you. I hope you enjoy them and be sure to stop back in a few days to see another one :)

Today, I have a pretty card to share that I made for a friend of mine whom I am so grateful for. I really like the color combination and will for sure be making more of these~
What do you think?
I started with my base and layer with Spellbinders 5 x 7 Reflective Moment die. I then followed a panel that I water colored and then followed with a Spellbinders A2 Devine Eloquence for the next 2 layers. I stamped the sentiment from My Creative Time~Friendships are Forever stamp/die set onto a Scalloped Stitched Oval die. The "friend" is a word die from this set as well, which is cut out with card stock and then foam for dimension.
I added a little cheesecloth and then a flower cluster in the corner was created with My Creative Time~Flower Petals Dies and Poppystamps Lovely Tendril Die for the leaves that are tucked beneath the flower. The butterfly is My Creative Time~Pretty Butterflies and Dragonfly Die. I heat embossed them with shabby pink enamel embossing powder and added a few gems.
I am entering this in the following challenges:

I do have some scheduled post while I am away for you but will be back in the swing of things in early October. Have a great weekend!

Today, I have a cute little card set using stamps and dies from Craftin Desert Divas. Oh my gosh, these sets are so darn cute I just couldn't pass them by.  I have had them for a while and just haven't had the chance to use them~so glad I finally did? Do any of you buy something and set it aside and before you know it months have gone by OR you just have so much you don't know what to use first?

Anyway, here are the sweet little cards made with these sets:
Hope you like them and are inspired!

Happy first day of school!

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hi Everyone!
I hope you had a great weekend~
Today I am sharing a fun back to school project.  I made a few treats for Arya to hand out to her preschool classmates and Teachers to start off the year~Today is her first day back and she is so excited to see all her buddies!
For the little kiddo's, I used My Creative Time's Card Sentiments stamp/die set for the sucker holder. I kept these really simple as they are going to just rip into them anyway for the sucker, lol! I stamped the cute little apple and sentiment with the Write On stamp set. I colored the apple with Wink of Stella and tied on a twine bow from my stash.
Super quick and easy for mass producing~
The Teachers treats are gable boxes from Jaded Blossom. I made a cute tag using the Luggage Tag Dies and the cute little images are from School Dies set. I stamped the adorable face on the glue bottle with PK Bucket List of Emojis face asst. So cute, ha? The sentiment is stamped and heat embossed with Teacher Appreciation stamp set. I tied on a pretty bow from SU to finish it off~I also made these little matching cards for the Teachers so Arya can write them a little message wishing them a good year~ The sentiment is from the School Rocks stamp set.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Jaded Blossom September Challenge~Use your dies
1.) DL.ART September Linky Challenge
2.) Little Scrap Pieces Show it Off Saturday

Good things come to those who hustle!

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hello Everyone!
Today, I am sharing a quick little card and treat project using an adorable cut file from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons called Work Out Girl. This is going to a sweet friend of mine who has been working out and getting fit over the past year and doing an amazing job!!!!  It's time to "celebrate" with this girl for her hard work....so I popped this in the mail for my bloggy friend Julie, hoping it puts a smile on her face and to let her know what an inspiration she is to all of us :)
Isn't she adorable?
The base of my card is Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons A2 Card Bases 2 cut file which is also cut on my Cameo. I used some fun pattern papers that were in my large, over flowing scrap bin, yeah!
I then cut out the work out girl and added foam tape for dimension and adhered her in place. I tied on some cute little bows with twine from my stash. The sentiment for the card and treat bag are stamped with Pretty Cute Stamps Work It stamp set.
I also found this cute little Purse Gift Bag from Pretty Papers Pretty Ribbons and thought it would go perfectly together.
I just love how this turned out :)
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Pretty Papers Pretty Ribbons Linky Challenge~Anything Goes
2.) Pretty Cute Stamps Challenge~Let's Celebrate
