If you're not a toppings kinda person, well...you can just stick with the usual "Anything Goes" Birthday!
Here is my project for the challenge:
I created a fun little birthday card and present box to hold a gift card and small gift. The papers are DCWV The Birthday Wishes Stack~So many fun, bright and sparkly papers in this stack. The present is Jaded Blossoms Birthday Dies. The border is from the file that I used to create the present box below. I stamped the sentiment with My Creative Time's Make a Wish stamp/die set. I finished with a bow using crinkle ribbon and gold string from my stash.
The cute present box is a file from My Craft Spot and cut on my Cameo. Again, using papers from the DCWV paper stack. The tag is stamped My Creative Time's Make a Wish stamp/die set. Super fun and pretty quick in the assembly :)

ReplyDeleteToday is the last warm day we're supposed to have :( It's 75 right now and I have the windows open!! But tomorrow, the high is going to be in the low 40's. Winter is coming whether I want it to or not :( I haven't had a chance to visit FB much lately and I had no idea you were expecting another grandbaby!! Oh my gosh, I'm so excited for you!! Maybe a boy this time?? Or another sweet little girl to join the trio :) Could not be happier for you my dear friend!! I hope you have a wonderful rest of the day!! Big hugs :)

OMG! I love this combination of matching gift and card. They are so happy and who would not want to receive this. I just made one for a friend and I will be making more as I love the"Matchy Matchy." Thanks so much for being our Party quest for the last two months. I have enjoyed your crafts.

ReplyDeleteOhhhhhhhhhhh these are gorgeous! LOVING those bright, happy colors!!!!! And I can't believe it's gonna be snowing there already! Wow! It finally turned cold (to us anyways ... you call it summer weather! HA!!!!) this week and is supposed to be mid 60's by next week!!!! Crazy for us ... but I know Brian, and he will still wear shorts on Thanksgiving! LOL!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm, how did I miss this fun post!! Loving the colours on this set Sherrie. They're so bright and cheery, perfect for a birthday! Love that wonky shaped gift box, reminds me of one you might find in a Dr. Seuss book! lol The big bow on the top is fantastic, what a wonderful decoration piece!! ReplyDeleteThis is such a really gorgeous gift and card set! I always love it when I can match my packaging to my card (although more often than not I leave it too late and don't get to do it!). The colours you have used are so pretty too, such a lovely combination together.
