Happy Holidays

Hello Everyone and Happy Friday!
Are you ready for the weekend?
Ooooh, I am SO ready to kick back and spend some time with my little Granddaughters! They can always put a smile on your face in no time at all! I just love them to pieces!!!

I have been wanting to try and make a few Christmas cards throughout the year so when December comes I 'm not scrambling. I love the idea that my sweet friend, Theresa at Theresa's Crafty Creation has going, where she is making a Christmas card weekly to build up her stash. You could have a stash in no time at all:)
Such a great idea! 
Here is a couple cards I created for my stash:
I used fun papers from MME Merry Little Christmas collection. I started with the base and layer using Jaded Blossoms Scallop Rectangle Dies 1. I then layered a Rectangle Dies 1 and again a another Scallop Rectangle Dies 1 which I mounted this adorable Chibi snowman on. Along the bottom is a border created using the Border Dies 2.
The adorable snowman is the Chibi Snowmen file from SVG Cutting Files. It's so cute and even has 3 different snowmen files in this set! I stamped the sweet face with PK-1882 Ornament Face set, added some rosy cheeks and glossy accents to the eyes. The snowflakes are from the Winter Dies and the twine is Trendy Twine's peppermint stick. The sentiment is stamped with the Holiday Gift Tags stamp set onto a Mini Tag Dies 2.

    Aw, these are so sweet and adorable, Sherrie!! The snowman are so cute!! I love the glossy accents on the eyes!! The way you tied the ribbon with the snowflake is absolutely fabulous!! I love, love these my friend!! So beautiful!! Thank you so much for playing along at DL.ART!!

    Love this fun card. The little image made me think the snow guy was sick but love the candy cane in the mouth. Very fun. Thanks for joining the DCD Snowman/Snowflake challenge.

    Sherrie, these are the most adorable Christmas cards! I can envision just how happy you will make the recipients... they are pure whimsy!     Your Card Is so Cute! Always Love seeing your creations. Great Idea to make a few Christmas Cards through out the year. Hope you got to enjoy some time with your Grand Daughters. I am planning on going this evening to my Grand Daughters 10th Birthday party. They grow up to fast.
