I'm lucky to have a friend like you

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hello Everyone!
I hope you are having a great week so far~
I have been sick again with a terrible chest/head cold so I am trying to take it easy and getting some extra rest. I can't believe this is my 3rd one this year~I am lucky if I even get 1 cold a year...time to fly south?!  Even my hubby is sick....and he never gets sick!

I have a some quick St. Patrick's Day treats to share that Arya and I made last week for her classmates. We also made some for Lacy and Ailey to hand out at their daycare as well :) We kept them very simple as the little ones are going to just rip into them for the candy anyway~so no ribbon, bling or extras...but there still cute, right?
We started with some flavored licorice in 3 x 4 bags and then added a topper. The cute topper is Jaded Blossoms Dainty Topper Die. I think it's perfect for this size bag.
The cute little shamrock is from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons Shamrock Faces file. I stamped the faces with PK1790 Bucket List Emojis stamp set. The sentiment is stamped with Jaded Blossoms Go Green stamp set. We ended up making 60 total which seems like a lot but it actually went pretty fast with my little helper. She is so excited to hand them out :)
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Jo's Scrap Shack Challenge #179 Anything Goes
2.) DL.ART March Linky Anything Goes
3.) Little Scrap Pieces Show It OFF Saturday

  2. Definitely super cute for kids. I understand...my students don't seem to appreciate the time and effort it takes to make them treats. They just want the candy.

  3. I hope you and your hubby feel much better soon, Sherrie :( This weather doesn't help, either. Take lots of Vitamin C and get rest, my friend. Sending lots of healing hugs your way.

These are the most adorable treats!! Those faces make me smile!! So smart to not add too many extras because you're right...the kids will want the candy!! Perfect for St. Patty's Day!! Get well soon. I'm thinking of you and keeping your family in my prayers. Big hugs :)

  10. These are precious, Sherrie! So glad that you and your daughter were able to craft together. It is so much fun when my elementary students bring treats to class that they have helped to make. They are so proud and eager to share! Hope you were able to take lots of photos of your daughter in the process of preparing these. Thank you for joining us at Jo's Scrap Shack.

  17. Your Treats are to cute, I hate to hear that your sick again. My husband has it to and he never gets sick either. Found out yesterday that my Grandson has Strep. I have to watch them the next several days because they are on Spring Break. I sure hope that I don't get It. I had it a few years ago and didn't know If I was going to make it or not. Hope you get to feeling better very soon.
