Congrats

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps
Hi Everyone!
I hope you are having a great Friday~
I can't believe it's almost May! I seriously don't know where the month of April went?! I have been trying to stay somewhat caught up between my visits back and forth back home but I'll tell ya, it's been exhausting to say the least. My Dad is now at a Rehab facility and trying to settle in.  He still struggles with confusion, memory loss and this stroke has also took his vision...which is so hard! It just breaks my heart! We continue to take one day at a time and praying each day it gets just a little bit better. Thank you again for the prayers, we certainly appreciate them and would love for them to keep coming~

Today, I have a couple baby cards and tags to share using dies from My Creative TimeI am in need of a couple in the next few weeks so here is what I came up with~

I started with the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More die set for the base layer. The papers are from Echo Park~Bundle of Joy Collection. I used the Scallop Stitched Oval Dies and layered two of them and then popped this cute little giraffe on it.
So cute, ha?
The giraffe is a print and cut from the Silhouette store and cut on my Cameo. The celebrate is also from the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More  die set and adhered to a banner from the Vintage Stitched Label Die set.
The tags are created with the Tag Dies and Tag Die Layers die keeping the design the same to match the cards. I finished with tying on a pretty bow using satin ribbon from my stash. Took me no time at all using the print and cut feature.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Die Cuttin Divas Challenge #314 Chevron and/or Polka Dots
2.) DL.ART April Linky Challenge~Anything Goes
3.) PDE Linky Challenge #170 Anything but a card
4.) Jo's Scrap Shack Challenge #186 Anything Goes

Also.....Be sure to save the date~May 3rd and 4th, spread the word and come join the FUN next week as we help Jo from Jo's Scrap Shack celebrate her 5th Blogaversary!  A lot of great inspiration and lots of GREAT prizes~
All the details below:
Have a great weekend~

Easter Treats~Bunny Tags

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps
Hello Everyone,
I will be sharing a few Easter projects with you over the next few days. I meant to schedule these posts earlier in the week and forgot as I had to leave out of town for a family emergency.  Please say some prayers for my Dad who suffered from a stroke on Wednesday morning. After spending a few days there, I came back to regroup, see my hubby, kids and grandchildren and soon going back. I will be away from blogging and/or commenting for now or until things settle down and time allows~

I have quick and easy Easter treat to share using this adorable print and cut file from the Silhouette store #185359 called Easter Bunny Tag for these treats.  When you are looking for a quick project, print and cut is the way to go. So easy especially for mass producing!
Arya helped me, once again put these together....such a big helper!
I selected my size, printed and cut and all the pieces and quickly put together 30 of these for attaching to a treat bag for sweet Lacy and Ailey (my other 2 Granddaughters) to hand out at their daycare.
I filled each cello bag with Easter Lifesaver Gummies and chocolate sixlets. I tied the cute little tags on with twine from my stash and stamped Happy Easter on the back...super easy!

Bunny Mail

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps
Hi Everyone!
I have a very quick and simple treat to share that Arya (my granddaughter) and I made. We  made 30 of these for her to hand out to her little classmates at preschool at the end of the week.  Arya did a great job running the bunny die through the cuttlebug....she loves crafting :)
Here are her treats she will be handing out:
I started with just cutting a 3 x 6 white base and folded it in half. Then the base layer is Jaded Blossoms Stitched Square Dies using Lasting Impressions paper. The sentiment is stamped with the  Bunny Mail stamp set.
The grass and sweet bunny is from the Spring Dies 1 (Version 2) die set. Arya added a piece of double sided tape to the inside so the candies would stay in place....some have skittles and some have starburst candies. I added twine and tied a bow to close them for her.
Didn't she do a great job?
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) DL.ART Thankful Thursday Challenge #201 Bunnies and/or Ducks
2.) Sunny Day Crafting April Challenge~Spring
3.) Die Cuttin Divas Challenge #312 Easter or Spring

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hi Everyone and Happy Tuesday!
I hope you had a great weekend~
I went to a scrap retreat with some of my friends which was a lot of fun. However, I think I spent more time chatting than I did crafting, hehe! I did get some things done, just not as productive as I was hoping..but hey, we had fun :)

I have been trying to get back in the swing of things with crafting since the distractions of some things going on back home with my family along with then being sick for 3 weeks :(  I think you will finally start seeing me a bit more in blog land and posting some fun projects. Thanks for all your support the past couple months~it's meant a lot to me that you've hung in there with me! Also, be sure to stop back tomorrow as I have some exciting news to share with you!

Today, I have a fun and simple Easter treat and card to share today. I decorated this fun little milk carton with this sweet little bunny from Jaded Blossoms Honey Bunny stamp set. I colored it with copics and popped it on with foam adhesives.

The matching card is 3 x 3. The pattern papers are form Lasting Impressions. I layered a Scallop Rectangle Die 1 and the sentiment is stamped onto the Card Mat Die. The sentiment and bunny are from the Bunny Mail stamp set as well.  I filled the milk carton with yummy chocolates and put it all in a cello bag and tied on a bow. Now there all ready to give at Easter :)
