The sentiment is stamped and heat embossed with My Creative Time's Greatest Handyman stamp set. I finished with sequins from my stash.

Just a little note

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hi Everyone!
I hope your having a great week so far~
A little update on why I've been missing and posts have been very scattered~ For those who follow me, pretty much know there has been a lot going on in my life since the new year.  I've have had a lot on my plate lately traveling back and forth often as my Dad was recovering from a broken pelvis in Dec to now recovering from a major stroke in April which has left him with some short memory loss and a loss of his vision which has been very difficult and just saddens my heart.

On a happy note, we had a new grandson, Oliver who is now 3 weeks old and another grandchild due to arrive in about 3 weeks. We have been trying to spend time with little Oliver as much as we can not to mention I watch my little granddaughters 2 days a week so this Nanny is pooped by the end of the day, lol!

I am so happy I found some time to sneak away in my craft room...I've been missing it so much!! I am going to "try" to take at least 1 day a week to craft, blog for now. That is about all I can allow right now. So, hopefully you will see my blog a bit more active?! Thanks for all of you who have stuck with me...I appreciate it more than you know!

Today, I have a couple really quick cards to share that I made using a file from the Silhouette Store and cut  on my Cameo. I dipped into an older stack of pattern papers from Stampin Up that I just got to use up...I have so much.
What do you all do with older pattern prints? I hate to get rid of it, it's so pretty!

I added pretty brads from Paper Studio to the centers of the flowers. The sentiment is stamped with My Creative Time's Just Because Stamp set.
This was super easy to cut out and put together if your looking for a quick set of cards! I definitely will be making some more of these.  Maybe, even make a matching card box to hold 6 and give these as a gift set?!
I am entering this in the following challenge:
1.) Jo's Scrap Shack Challenge #192 Anything Goes
2.) DL.ART June Linky Challenge~Anything Goes
3.) PDE Linky Challenge #176 Cards
4.) Word Art Wednesday Challenge #286-287 Anything Goes
5.) Paper Sweeties June Challenge

Thankful for you

Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hi Everyone and Happy Sunday!
I hope your having a wonderful day~
I am a little behind these days with the end of the year things going on with our Granddaughter, Arya. She had a cute preschool graduation concert two days last week, a field trip day, which the kiddos had a blast and then she spent Thur/Fri with us. It was a busy week!
I wasn't able to get in my craft room much but I did squeeze in a quick tag to add the Teacher gifts that Arya was giving to them.
The tag is created with Jaded Blossoms Luggage Tag Dies. The papers are from Echo Park Bundle of Joy collection. The leaves are Frantic Stamper Asst Foliage Dies from Scrapy Land.  The pretty flowers are Jaded Blossoms Flower Dies and the #1 is Jaded Blossoms Alphabet Dies and the Teacher is stamped with Jaded Blossoms Happy Hello (add on) stamp set. I stamped the sentiment with Jaded Blossoms Supersized Thank You  stamp set.
I made some handmade lotion (with the help of some amazing friends) using essential oils. I love how it turned out and made a 8 jars to give out. I added a cute little flower to the lid to match the tag. I used Jaded Blossoms Scallop Circle Die and then the Flower Dies for the flower. I tied on some pretty SU ribbon and added a cute little tag with My Craft Spots~Tiny Tags Metal Dies and the sentiment is the Tiny Tags 3 stamp set. (no longer available)
Arya was excited to fill the cute insulated bag with a few treats, an asst note set, pen set and handmade lotion...zipped it up and added the cute tag to the outside~
We can't thank the Teachers enough for all they do.....they are amazing!! She had a wonderful year at Queen Of Peace and is looking forward to Kindergarten next year :)
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1.) Double D Challenges Flowers Galore
2.) DL.ART June Linky Challenge
3.) Die Cuttin Divas Challenge #319 Anything Goes
4.) Jo's Scrap Shack Challenge #191 Anything Goes
This was preschool graduation day~
Arya with a couple of her close friends~
Arya with her awesome Teachers
( a little emotional for sweet Arya~not wanting to leave her friends and Teachers)
I hope to be back back on track real soon with some projects to share~
Have a great day!
