I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!
 I am super excited to be Jaded Blossoms December Guest Designer for today. I would love for you to pop over to Jaded Blossom and check it out if you have time~
 I have a cute little New Years gift idea to share with you. I thought it would be fun to make a quick gift to give my friend who is having a party to help her ring in the New Year~

The fun little box is the super cute Gable Box Die. I decorated it with fun wine bottles and sentiments using Jaded Blossoms Bubbly Stamp Set.  I filled it with a small bottle of  her favorite whiskey and some yummy chocolates. The tag is created with the Treat Tag Die and the background is stamped with the Holiday Treat Tags stamp set. I tied on some yummy crinkle ribbon from my stash.

The card base and layer is created with the Scallop Square Dies. I followed with the Stitched Square Dies and then the matching tag like on the gable box. The wine bottle again is from the Bubbly Stamp Set stamped and fussy cut out.

Hello Everyone and Happy Wednesday~ 

I hope you are having a great week and all ready for Christmas~ I want to wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

It's time again for a new challenge at Scrapy Land and the challenge is: Anything Goes PLUS use a brand of die Scrapy Land carries... there are over 55 brands to choose from!!!

Several  members on the Scrapy Land Design Team participated in a Christmas card exchange for this post. Here is the card I sent to my sweet friend and team member, Anne. 

I started with by base and then followed with the gorgeous Poppystamps Snowflake Background Die. Rudolph is layered onto the Tutti Designs Stitched Nesting Rectangles die. The adorable little Rudolph is 

DoveCrafts Rudolph Die. The Merry Christmas is the Memory Box Brush Merry Christmas Die and the cute snowflakes are Die Versions Snowflake Die. I finished with a pretty bow using SU ribbon from my stash :) 

I also made a matching tag to go along with the card. The tag is Tutti Designs Stitched Nesting Tags Die. Layered the sweet Rudolph, the Merry Christmas and added a pretty snowflake. 

I finished with tying on some ribbon and added a gold string bow.

Merry Christmas

Hi everyone and Happy Thursday!!

I hope you are having a great day. Are you all ready for Christmas?? Yikes, it's coming quick, ha?! My son is flying home from NY next week for Christmas, yay! So, I am trying to get everything done this week so we can enjoy our visit with him and not be in the middle of wrapping, shopping and baking. Fingers crossed, hehe!

Today, I have a quick Christmas tag to share using some of  Jaded Blossoms cute die sets. I also wanted to join in Jaded Blossoms challenge along with some others that are going on this month. It seems like forever since I played in them..so happy I got in my craft room this morning :)  

I started with the Scallop Caddy Die set for the base of my tag. This particular die is for a cute little treat box but I improvised and used it as a tag :)  After running the die through my cuttlebug, I trimmed off the side flap to use for my base. The other die in the set was for the inside layering mat. The fun pattern papers are from Michael's-Craft Smith Say Freeze collection.

The deer is from the Christmas Dies 2, die cut two times and adhered onto the Scallop Circle Dies. I also used the Banner Dies along the bottom with the Merry Christmas which is also from the Christmas Dies 2 set. The snowflakes are the Winter Dies. I added Nuvo crystal drops, pretty ribbon, jute string and a cute little jingle bell from my stash to finish it off.

Hello Everyone and Happy Wednesday~ 

It's been a few weeks since I posted but I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It's been hard to get in my craft room as I have been swamped with family stuff. My son, daughter in law and family just moved right before Thanksgiving.  So, the past few weeks we have been extremely busy helping them move, paint and do a little remodeling. We also ended up all getting sick over Thanksgiving **boo**as well.  So, we are just now starting to get back in the swing of things...thank goodness!!  It is a busy time of year as well, hence why little time to craft other than for my DT commitments.
I am missing all my bloggy buddies and my craft time but should be back to a routine very soon :)

Here is what a created for the Anything Goes challenge~ 

For my cards today, I started with a white card base and then followed with the base layer using papers from the LemonCraft~House of Roses collection. I ran texture paste through a folk art stencil for texture and then layered a the Memory Box Honeycomb Remnant Die in the corners.

I layered a mat with the Tutti Designs Scallop Stitched Nesting Rectangle Dies. I then followed with the Die Versions Daisy Chain Scallop Die, the Spellbinders Classic Circles Die and then the cute little Panda bear. The Panda is Jaded Blossoms Panda's are Awesome set....so cute!

 

Along the bottom is the Penny Black Edger Die  and the butterfly is the Die Versions Pretty Butterfly Die. Beneath the Wild Orchid miniature gardenia flowers is Paper Smooches Foliage 1 Die. The adorable little sentiments are from Cardz TV  Mini Messages stamp set that I had won back in October. So many fun sentiments on this set...check it out HERE.
