Welcome to Sherrie Scraps with Passion
Hi Everyone,
I am sorry I have been missing a while but I was in need of some time away. My Father passed away on Sept 2 and it's been a pretty emotional few weeks. I had been doing a lot of traveling to be with family over the past 6 months. I will continue to travel to spend time with my Mom and family until we all get back into our routines of work and our own families. I am trying slowly to get back into a routine and happy to be doing a little crafting:

Here is my DT Project:
I made this cute little set of cards...perfect to have on hand throughout the school year when you just need a quick card for a Teacher. I will be giving these to my daughter so she has them when her kids need a quick card for their Teacher.
The card base and layer is the Tutti Designs Stitched Nesting Rectangle Die set. The Memory Box Starry Border Die was ran through the rectangle panel along the top. The yummy apple is Frantic Stamper Teacher's Apple Die and popped with foam tape for dimension.
I stamped the adorable face with Peachy Keens Bucket List Emojiis Face Asst stamp set. The star is from the Elizabeth Craft Designs 4th of July Die, the A+ and Teacher are also from the Frantic Stamper Teacher's Apple Die set. I finished with a bow using twine from my friend, Diana at DL.ART.

Sherrie,
ReplyDeleteI was thinking about you a couple days ago and wondering where you were but then I remembered that your father had passed and do that you probably needed some time off . I was a wreck when my dad died .
These little teacher cards are adorable!
Hugs,
Chriss
These are adorable! I love the stamped faces on the apples. I know the recipients will love them too.
ReplyDeleteOh Sherrie, I am so very sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I know all to well how you are feeling and the emotional roller coaster you go through when someone dear passes. I am still dealing with days of sorrow since my Dad passed in February. It helps to talk with family, remembering good times with laughter and tears. You will deal with it different than me, I have almost stopped blogging. I post once in a while and will continue to do so, but it seems so unimportant to me now. Please know I am thinking of you and praying for you.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Pam
