I am slowly trying to get back in my craft room after time needed with family after the loss of my Father last month. It has been a difficult time but I know time still marches on....so, I am working at getting back to doing some of the things I enjoyed not to mention it helps to keep myself busy.
Today, I have a quick little Halloween tag to share with you~ these will tie on the treat bags that my grandchildren (Arya & Lacy) will take to school for their Halloween party's next week. Since the kids will quickly rip into them and just throw the tags away I kept it very simple~
We made a total of 38 of these cuties~

The tags are created with Jaded Blossoms OctagonDies. The cute ghosts are from the Halloween Dies. I stamped the sweet faces with PK-490 Everyday Character Face stamp set and added a little chalk for the cheeks.
The sentiment is stamped with the Halloween Tags stamp set onto a Mini Tag Dies 2. I filled a cello bag I picked up at Michael's with candy and tied the tag on with black tulle.
Super quick and easy!

ReplyDeleteYour tags are precious, and I know they will be a hit at the class party. I love when my students bring treats that show so much time and care was taken to create them. I know it was a labor of love.

Oh my goodness, they're so sweet, Sherrie!! I love those adorable ghosts with their rosy cheeks!! The tulle is a perfect touch!! Arya and Lacy's classmates will adore these!!

A Mermaid's Crafts
It's hard getting back into crafting after the loss of a loved one. When my Dad passed away in February I didn't care about doing anything. I didn't do much blogging or facebook, I just didn't care and it wasn't important to me. It really took months for me. I know my dad wouldn't have wanted me to stop my crafting, he loved the things I made for him so much. He dedicated his china hutch to all the cards I made for him. He loved the pillowcases I made for him and the painted rock and handcrafted gourd. I miss him so much as I know you miss you Dad. Keep crafting, your Dad would want you to. You do such beautiful work! Your little ghost tags are darling! The kids will love them!
